I've noticed that sometimes the point where a train is supposed to stop (stop marker) within a station platform is not always the most logical/optimal. Sometimes it's just the very end of the platform, leaving a lot of unused space behind it, whereas it could stop in a more "central" position, making better use of most of the station's features such as roofs, exits, ticket machines etc. In some cases, the stop marker is set too early too, so some trains end up leaving a few cars outside the platform area. This happens to be more critical with smaller trainsets stopping at larger stations, and does not reflect what usually happens in real life. The issue can of course be remedied by just stopping earlier (or later) when driving, but it still impacts realism when taking in consideration all the AI driven trains.
