This issue is also present on TSW 2 and is most noticeable on American freight routes at night. Issue Summary: While performing a service at night and driving downhill, fog will appear and get thicker and thicker the further you go down. Platform: PC Steam (Probably affects all platforms) Game Mode: Service / Journey Route Name: Any American freight (issue found on Sherman Hill and Cajon Pass) Loco Name: Any Service/Scenario Name + Start Time: Any service at night starting in a high place (e.g. G-HOULAC6-07 Grain train from Houston to Los Angeles 02:29) Step-by-Step Instructions: Choose the example service with clear skies preset and no dynamic weather. Drive this service normally. You will find it more and more difficult to see outside the further you go down. Start service: End service: As you can see, you see nothing at the end of the service. No stars, no rails. Nothing. Funny thing is, that only happens while going downhill. It doesn't seem to be a problem while going uphill. I don't think that is realistic because I have never experienced such a phenomenon in real life. I think, what happens is that there is a plane of fog below you, which moves up with you but doesn't move down with you. This issue also occurs in TSW 2, so it can't be because of dynamic weather.
A temporary solution is to set the Effects Quality to OFF in Settings when this occurs. This solves the problem. BR o7 PS Reverting to Settings other than OFF is OK after that what is ultra strange
