    Dear Dovetail Games Team,

I hope this message reaches you in great spirits. My name is [Your Name], and I am a devoted fan of the Train Sim World series. First, I want to thank you for your incredible work in bringing to life some of the most iconic and exciting railway routes in the world. Your dedication to authenticity, immersive gameplay, and innovation has set a high standard in the simulation gaming industry, and each update continues to exceed expectations.

Today, I am writing to propose an ambitious yet exciting idea: the inclusion of the Strasbourg to Paris railway line as a new route for Train Sim World 5. Additionally, I want to suggest the incorporation of several iconic trains, including the TGV Atlantique, TGV Réseau, OUIGO, and Thalys, to enrich the diversity of your train roster and provide players with an unparalleled high-speed rail experience.

Given the scope and potential impact of this proposal, I kindly ask that it be reviewed promptly, ideally within the next two days, as I believe it could align perfectly with future DLC plans or updates currently in development.

    Why Strasbourg to Paris?
The Strasbourg to Paris railway line is one of the most significant routes in Europe, blending technical complexity, cultural significance, and breathtaking scenery. Below, I outline the key reasons why this route would make an outstanding addition to Train Sim World 5:

    1. Breathtaking Scenery and Diverse Landscapes
This route offers an incredible variety of landscapes, transitioning from the historic charm of Strasbourg, through the idyllic Alsatian vineyards and open French countryside, to the dense urban environment of Paris. Each section of the journey has its own character:

    • Strasbourg and Alsace: Players would begin their journey in Strasbourg, with its iconic railway station and picturesque surroundings. The lush vineyards and rolling hills of Alsace provide a serene backdrop.
    • Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine: Passing through cities like Metz and Reims, players could admire the vast plains and small villages that define these regions.
    • Parisian Approach: Finally, as trains approach Gare de l’Est, players would face the challenges of navigating the busy, intricate network of tracks leading into the bustling heart of Paris.
    2. Iconic High-Speed Operations with Multiple Train Options
The Strasbourg-Paris railway is part of the LGV Est Européenne, a flagship high-speed line in France. Its inclusion in Train Sim World 5 would provide players with the thrilling opportunity to operate some of the fastest trains in Europe while navigating complex signaling systems and precision-based operations. To fully capture the essence of this route, the following trains could be included:

    • TGV Réseau: A versatile high-speed train, ideal for recreating authentic SNCF services between Strasbourg and Paris.
    • TGV Atlantique: A true icon of French railways, this train’s inclusion would honor its historical role on high-speed lines in France.
    • OUIGO: Adding the low-cost, pink-and-blue branded OUIGO services would introduce players to a modern, budget-friendly operation style, providing fresh gameplay variety.
    • Thalys: Given the international significance of the Thalys, which connects France to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, its inclusion would expand the route’s appeal to international players.
    3. Challenging and Immersive Gameplay
The Strasbourg-Paris route offers a wide range of gameplay challenges that would engage players of all skill levels:

    • High-Speed Operations: Managing speeds of up to 320 km/h while adhering to strict schedules and navigating gradients.
    • Regional Services: Introducing TER (Transport Express Régional) trains to serve intermediate stations along the route.
    • Freight Operations: Freight trains play a significant role in this corridor, allowing for additional gameplay diversity.
    • Dynamic Weather and Timetables: Simulating real-life conditions, such as snow in winter or thunderstorms in summer, would add depth to the experience.
    Cultural and Historical Significance
The Strasbourg-Paris railway line represents much more than a transportation link; it is a symbol of connectivity and innovation. Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region and a hub for European institutions, while Paris is one of the most globally recognized cities in the world. This route would allow players to experience a journey that combines history, culture, and modern engineering.

Why Include TGV Atlantique, Réseau, OUIGO, and Thalys?
The inclusion of these trains would not only enhance the authenticity of the Strasbourg-Paris route but also expand the overall replay value of Train Sim World 5. Here is why these trains matter:

    1. TGV Atlantique: Known for its pioneering role in high-speed rail, the TGV Atlantique is a classic that appeals to railway enthusiasts worldwide. Its distinct design and historical significance make it a must-have for any French route.

    2. TGV Réseau: A workhorse of the SNCF high-speed fleet, the TGV Réseau continues to serve various routes across France. Its inclusion would provide players with a modern, versatile option.

    3. OUIGO: This budget-friendly service has revolutionized high-speed rail in France. The colorful livery and unique operational style of OUIGO trains would add a fun and modern twist to the gameplay.

    4. Thalys: As an international service, Thalys connects Paris with major European cities, making it a perfect fit for any future extensions of the Strasbourg-Paris route, such as a link to Brussels or Cologne.
    Implementation Suggestions
To maximize the appeal and gameplay potential of this route, I recommend the following:

    1. Stations to Include:
      • Strasbourg
      • Saverne
      • Metz-Ville
      • Champagne-Ardenne TGV
      • Gare de l’Est (Paris)
    2. Dynamic Scenarios:
      • High-speed TGV services with tight schedules.
      • Regional TER services with multiple stops.
      • Freight operations requiring careful planning and coordination.
    3. Authentic Signaling Systems:
Implement the KVB (Contrôle de Vitesse par Balises) and TVM-430 signaling systems used on high-speed lines.
    4. Landmark Representation:
Include detailed landmarks such as Strasbourg Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower (visible on approach to Paris), and the Champagne-Ardenne vineyards.
    Request for Prompt Review
Given the increasing demand for French routes and iconic high-speed trains within the Train Sim World community, I kindly request that this proposal be reviewed within the next two days. The Strasbourg-Paris route and the suggested train additions would represent a major milestone for the series, appealing to a global audience while expanding the diversity of content available in Train Sim World 5.

I am more than happy to provide further details, community feedback, or references to support this idea. Thank you once again for your hard work and dedication to creating the best railway simulation experiences possible.

I eagerly await your response and hope to see these exciting additions come to life in the future.

    Best regards,

SNCF have been reported as no longer being willing to grant licensing or research access to depict their routes and operations in the game (sadly).

it's false it run on LGV east but only for 2 mission TGV eurodéputée and for renovation (ruby) train it make a lot of test on LGV est because quite simply the LGV East (est) is probably the one where it is easiest to carry out tests

The TGV Atln don't run on LGV east okay for the operation Rita there was Atln at Strasbourg but it as for a renovation of trainset, thalys is special operation and it's via C2G and LGV Inter and after it run on LGV est or nord and it's one or 2 times per month and the route is booring and not so intersting long route for only 4 stops and 490 km a LGV north or Alantique for example Paris montparnasse - Laval could be a better route RS: TGV Atln,2N2 3UFC and Duplex 200

or a another LGV suggestion LGV nord (north) it does 220 km and i maked a suggestion on this route it's Lille Flandres+Europe - Paris nord,C2G RS TGV R tri (4500),POS (4400) and OUIGO TGV dayse HD (7°°)

    Ferrovipathe67,
I understand, but I want to see the interior of the TGV trains, we can put like the route marseille avignon we can put the tgv thalys to Amserdam and it will serve either Strasbourg, Metz-ville and Paris CDG and then when it goes to Amserdam and it says “You have exceeded the limit of the map” it's okay if it's not realistic. Or, it does Paris CDG then Amserdam then it says 30 seconds later “You've exceeded the limit of the map” then for the tgv Atlantique, it really serves Strasbourg Paris CDG even if it won't serve Saverne Metz-Ville and Champagne-Ardenne TGV. then also I'd like to add the RER and / or the metro several or only 1. then also if we add the metro can we that it goes to Paris Monterpasse and then the train Ouigo and the tgv Inoui Réseau goes to Metz-ville, as I said I would like to add the ter, to help you take the Flix train and transform it into TER 200 change the livery and the color of the seats in blue it will make Saverne and Strasbourg, also add the eurostar to paris CDG it will do PParis CDG Lille and St pacaras and it says 30 seconds later “You've exceeded the limit of the map” to do the eurostar take the Southeastern then change it with my image. Thank you!

    Dear Dovetail Games Team,

My name is Stoufa67000, and I am an enthusiastic player of the Train Sim World series. I would like to suggest an exciting addition to the game that I believe would be a fantastic experience for players worldwide: the inclusion of the Eurostar route from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to London St Pancras International.

As an iconic high-speed railway line connecting two major European cities, this route is renowned for its significance and thrilling operations. Introducing this route in Train Sim World would not only appeal to fans of high-speed rail but also bring a new level of international railway simulation to the game.

Why the Paris CDG to London St Pancras Route?
The Eurostar route from Paris to London is one of the most iconic international railway services in the world. It crosses multiple landscapes, from the urban areas of Paris and London to the countryside of Northern France and Kent, as well as the engineering marvel of the Channel Tunnel (Chunnel).

    Key Features of the Route:
    1. Iconic Start and End Points:
      • Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG Terminal 2): A key hub for Eurostar departures and arrivals, situated in one of Europe’s busiest international airports.
      • London St Pancras International: Known for its beautiful Victorian architecture and modern Eurostar facilities, it would make an exciting terminus for players.
    2. Channel Tunnel Experience:
This route would allow players to experience the unique challenge of driving through the 50 km-long Channel Tunnel, a feat of engineering that connects France and England beneath the English Channel.

    3. Scenic Views and Realism:
      • Northern French countryside, including the Lille region.
      • The Kent countryside, also known as the "Garden of England."
      • Urban environments around London and Paris.
    4. Technical and Operational Challenges:
Players would need to manage speed, signaling systems (such as TVM-430 on high-speed tracks), and border-related stops or procedures at international checkpoints like Ashford International or Lille Europe.
    Train Suggestion: Eurostar e320
To make the experience authentic, the Eurostar e320 (Class 374) train could be included:

    • High-Speed Excellence: Capable of reaching speeds of 320 km/h, the e320 is the most modern Eurostar train in service, providing fast and efficient travel between Paris and London.
    • Unique Design: Its sleek design and interior offer a premium experience, which would be thrilling for players to recreate.
For added variety, you could consider adding the older Eurostar Class 373 as a nostalgic option.

    Gameplay Possibilities
This route offers countless opportunities for diverse gameplay:

    1. High-Speed Services: Operating non-stop Eurostar services between Paris and London.
    2. Intermediate Stops: Scenarios could include stopping services at key stations such as Lille Europe, Ebbsfleet International, or Ashford International.
    3. Dynamic Weather Conditions: Driving through different weather scenarios, such as rain or fog, would make this route even more engaging.
    4. Channel Tunnel Focus: Scenarios focusing on driving in the unique environment of the Chunnel, with potential events like maintenance or power management.
Why This Route Fits Train Sim World
Adding the Paris CDG to London St Pancras Eurostar route would significantly enhance the international appeal of Train Sim World. It aligns with the game’s dedication to realism and iconic railways while offering something truly unique: the first cross-border high-speed route in the series.

    Closing Thoughts
As a passionate fan of Train Sim World, I firmly believe this route would resonate with the community and attract even more players to the game. Please let me know if additional details or ideas are needed for this proposal—I would be happy to help!

Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to see the Eurostar make its debut in Train Sim World soon!

    Kind regards,
    Stoufa67000

    Dear Dovetail Games Team,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Stoufa67000, and I am a dedicated fan of the Train Sim World series. I would like to propose a highly ambitious idea that would not only expand the gameplay experience for fans but also elevate the global appeal of Train Sim World:

    1. The addition of the Eurostar route from Paris (including Montparnasse and Charles de Gaulle) to London St Pancras International.
    2. An extension of the Southeastern High Speed Route to integrate with the Eurostar services.
Both of these enhancements would bring together two iconic high-speed rail services, providing players with an unparalleled international and regional experience.

Part 1: The Eurostar Paris-London Route
The Eurostar is synonymous with cross-border high-speed travel, connecting two of Europe’s most significant cities: Paris and London. Introducing this route into Train Sim World would be a game-changer. Below are some key elements to consider for this addition:

    Route Details
    1. Departure Points:
      • Paris Montparnasse: This historic station in the heart of Paris serves as a key hub for TGV services and offers a stunning starting point for players.
      • Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG Terminal 2): Another major hub for Eurostar departures, conveniently located within one of the busiest airports in Europe.
    2. Intermediate Stops:
      • Lille Europe: A key stop on the Eurostar line, connecting Northern France to the UK.
      • Ashford International: A historic Eurostar station in Kent that could serve as an interesting gameplay challenge.
    3. Destination:
      • London St Pancras International: A world-famous terminus known for its stunning architecture and seamless integration with UK rail services.
    Unique Features of the Route
    • Channel Tunnel: Driving through the 50 km-long tunnel is a unique and thrilling experience that would challenge players with new operational dynamics.
    • Scenic Landscapes: The line crosses Northern France’s countryside and Kent’s "Garden of England," offering a rich visual experience.
    Train Suggestions
    • Eurostar e320 (Class 374): The flagship high-speed train of the Eurostar fleet, capable of 320 km/h, offering a modern and authentic driving experience.
    • Eurostar Class 373: As a nostalgic option, this train represents the earlier days of Eurostar services.
Part 2: Southeastern High Speed Extension
To complement the Eurostar route, I propose extending the Southeastern High Speed Route, currently featured in Train Sim World, to fully integrate Eurostar services. This would unlock new possibilities for players, blending regional and international high-speed operations.

    Proposed Enhancements
    1. Ashford International to London St Pancras:
Players could experience running Eurostar services alongside Southeastern Javelin trains, adding variety to gameplay.

    2. Integration of Classic Southeastern Lines:
Extending the Southeastern High Speed Route further into classic lines, such as towards Tonbridge or Ramsgate, would give players a chance to operate more regional services.
    Additional Train Suggestions
    • Class 395 Javelin: Already in the game, it complements Eurostar services on shared tracks.
    • Class 377 Electrostar: For players looking for a mix of high-speed and regional operations.
    Gameplay Opportunities
Combining the Eurostar and Southeastern routes offers a vast range of scenarios, such as:

    1. High-Speed Services: Operating full-length Eurostar services between Paris and London.
    2. Regional Connections: Using the Southeastern extension to connect regional services to high-speed international routes.
    3. Dynamic Challenges: Navigating border checks, variable weather in the Channel Tunnel, and the mix of high-speed and regional operations on shared tracks.
    4. Custom Scenarios: Players could create unique challenges by combining Southeastern and Eurostar traffic patterns.
Why This Proposal Fits Train Sim World
This combined proposal would bring together some of the most iconic high-speed services in Europe. It aligns perfectly with the game’s goal of delivering immersive, realistic, and globally recognized railway experiences. With the growing demand for cross-border routes and expanded regional networks, this project would be a massive hit among the community.

    Closing Thoughts
As a passionate fan, I believe that introducing the Eurostar route and enhancing the Southeastern High Speed Route would mark a major milestone for Train Sim World. It would bring together international and regional operations in a way never seen before.

I hope this proposal resonates with your vision for the future of the game. Please let me know if more details are needed—I would be more than happy to contribute additional ideas.

Thank you for your time and dedication to this amazing series.

    Kind regards,
    Stoufa67000

Ferrovipathe67, I took the map as an example of a journey even if it represents something ajet by car. It seems realistic to have a similar journey by train, also as I said "But is not in car". Before saying things, look at my posts. As I said! I know that Thalys and Eurostar do not run in Strasbourg, and what you said "only TGV network run on CDG - C2G - strasbourg there was Atln in north of france but it was only for test "run" and it's why in tgv haute Picardie there is TGV A 1 and 2." It really goes to Paris CDG not for tests but for travelers. Is that what you're saying for now that leaves Strasbourg? So what I'm saying may be wrong, but it can be done! Let me remind you: as long as it's possible, it can be done, even if it's not true!
