Searching for a route closer to hone, I came across this lovely version of the Strathspey railway closed in the 1960s:

There’s a Dava extension in progress:

My great uncle was a station master at Ballindalloch, and I was told how Tsar Nicholas II visited with George V just before World War I.

I recall visiting the old station there and walking along the bridge, now a grade A listed building and part of the Speyside Way.

Have only just started exploring, with a ‘camouflaged’ Class 37!

Isn't part of this now preserved?

I'm trying to download an asset required for this route... SAD Asset back from RS.net... I'm confused.. I can't find it anywhere on the site it takes me to.. not helped by it not being an English site. Can you post a link to it?

Clicking on the source in the second column takes you to the place.

I just downloaded the route in its entirety:

    https://www.railsimulator.net/wsif/index.php?entry/257-altenburg-wildau-v-3-12/

There’s an English manual there (will edit in link in a second), which says to backup your SAD folder prior to install (didn’t have one, think it’s the contributor’s folder):
