I took express service from Manchester to Leeds and i'm stuck cos'of red light never turns in green. I suppose to live the Huddersfield Station at 15:25 or 26 smt but the signal didn't let me even 5- 10 minutes later. So that service failed.

Have you resumed a save game?

Did you overrun the signal at all?

Did you try contacting the signaller? What did it say?

Maybe the freight train want to go first

  4. I've been held at signals for upto 45 mins before they have cleared. I think sometimes the dispatcher gives trains priority even though they are miles away.

I've had a few issues recently not being able to start services (101) from Hudderfield to Leeds as the signal out of the platform never clears. Tried driving in the other direction and all was well until the final signal into Hudderfield which never cleared. No AI train in sight on the map.

The Marsden to Leeds service, around 1150, does the same thing. I've sent a ticket but no fix yet as far as I know. I haven't been on tsw3 for weeks. It's turning into an episode of "what's broken now?"

I've just experienced the same issue where my service from Manchester to Leeds was due to leave Hudderfield at 15:20ish but the singal stays red. There was a oil train sat in an adjacent platform which at first glance looks like it is sat at a red signal. On closer inspection it is sat a few meters beyond the signal, it was due to leave at 15:50ish so I decided to wait. Right on time it set off and as soon as it was clear, my signal cleared and I was able to complete the run 30 mins late.

Ok, I haven't had this issue, so could it be something to do with the BR Heavy Freight Pack that I do not have?

The freight train looks to be sitting beyond a red signal, but it’s for the neighbouring track. The signal for the freight is way out on the main, so I am suspecting that there is a missing starter signal for the freight line that prevents the passenger service from leaving on time.
