I was just blown away by the dev diary video. The graphics used look awesome for this game. I had to remind myself not to get too excited as none of these are used in the game. But I'm seeing a tremendous looking UI in it. I do understand it would take a tremendous amount of work to change the UI with those graphics and make it functional. But I was seeing an entire new game in that video. It won't be TSW4 but maybe TSW5?
Yeah, I was also - they're really stepping up their video-making abilities as well. I know others have expressed their dissatisfaction with TSW4 but for me a lot of the changes they're making are ones I've been quietly hoping for, for a while now. i.e. that mini-HUD and free roam. It's also good to see their enthusiasm, and I get a sense that it's a fun place to work. I do hope they manage to square the circle, though - find a way to take the criticisms onboard and make changes where feasible. When I compare what I see about TSW4 to TSW2 and TSW3, however, I do see evidence that they listen and act. That gives me hope for the future.
