These 3 lines are some of the busiest on the lines out of Glasgow Central, and all have 30 min service as well as ECS moves from Shields and Corkerhill depots. These lines are served for the most part by Class 156’s and 380’s, although a Class 314 did run the services on the Paisley Canal line before withdrawal in December 2019, with the last passenger service worked by a 314 being on this line.

The Class 380 is one of the most common units to see across Glasgow, with them working services out of Queen St and Central. They currently operate on the Paisley Canal line, as well as the Cathcart Circle, Inverclyde and Ayrshire Coast lines. They have both 3 and 4 car sets, 22 forming the 3car class 380/0, with 16 forming the 4car class 380/1. They have a top speed of 100mph and an acceleration of 2.2mph/s (380/0) and 2mph/s (380/1).

The ScotRail Class 156’s are based at Corkerhill depot on the Paisley Canal Line, a few minutes outside of Glasgow Central. They operate services from Glasgow Central to East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Carlisle and Stranraer, as well as trains from Queen St to Oban and the West Highland Line. They have a top speed of 75mph and an acceleration similar to the other Sprinters (please don’t copy and paste the 150 physics over to this)
