    Overview
I would like to suggest a Swedish route for Train Sim World: the Öresundståg service between Gothenburg – Copenhagen Østerport combined with the Pågatåg service from Helsingborg C – Trelleborg C.

This would bring Scandinavian railways into TSW for the first time and offer a great mix of longer regional journeys and short commuter runs.

    Route Details
    • Öresundståg: Gothenburg – Copenhagen Østerport
      • Cross-border route via Malmö and the Öresund Bridge.

      • Stops at major stations such as Gothenburg C, Lund, Malmö C, Copenhagen Airport, and Copenhagen Østerport.

      • Scenic coastal stretches and the iconic bridge crossing.
    • Pågatåg: Helsingborg C – Trelleborg C
      • Dense commuter service with many stops across Skåne.

      • Brings the “local flavour” of southern Sweden.

      • Perfect for shorter scenarios and service variety.
    Rolling Stock
    • X31K (Öresundståg) – used on cross-border services between Sweden and Denmark.

    • X61 (Pågatåg) – modern EMU for commuter services in Skåne.
(Optional layering: X2000 or Rc4 freight if DTG/third-party wanted to expand later.)

    Why this route?
    • First ever Scandinavian route in TSW – highly requested by the community.

    • Mix of long-distance regional and short commuter runs = variety and replay value.

    • Iconic infrastructure: Öresund Bridge, Swedish coastal towns, and Danish capital.

    • Beautiful landscapes: coastline, forests, and urban environments.

    • Expands the game world into new countries with unique signalling systems and culture.
    Conclusion
I believe the Öresundståg and Pågatåg would be a fantastic addition to Train Sim World, attracting both Swedish players and international fans who want to explore Nordic railways.

Thank you for considering this suggestion!
