So if you all decide to give another route an upgrade like you did for Sherman Hill and Boston Sprinter my vote would be for Tees Valley Line. That's an oldie in my dlc list that I love. It has options for passenger, switching/shunting freight, and hauling freight so there's just so much to it.
I think what there doing now is doing a sort of freight, passenger and new route. I think for the UK we might see the BML and maybe TVL (as it's mostly freight I belive) get upgraded and a new route. Likely for Germany aswell: Dresden - Riesa, another passenger route and a new freight route maybe?
TVL, NTP, GWE and ECW are all worthy candidates for a full upgrade or rebuild to bring them into line with current tsw3 standards.
If any british route does BML is guaranteed as they seem to be updated the rush hour routes (as they deserve) and it will probably be a mostly freight route so probably the TVL
You know I have yet to get BML but I see it gets high praise so I will have to grab it one day when money is available.
Yeah it's probably the best British route in my opinion - it has litterally thousands of services to fulfil the route and its not really super buggy despite a few lighting issues.
I think that the first route of the game - Sand Patch Grade - should be one of the first to get an update. He deserves it and we have to pay tribute to him. It should receive all the latest improvements. It would be good to improve the scenery, vegetation and schedule. It would be great to replenish its rolling stock fleet with other locomotives and wagons.
I would love to see TVL and NTP refreshed and dare I say extended as it doesn't look like there are going to be any more BR Diesel routes anytime soon sadly. Just be aware that if you are on an 8th generation console or a poor PC performance may suffer with regular crashes. Apart from that the timetable is brilliant and the biggest problem for me is the Electrostars which are endlessly scurrrying around, though that is something which you may like for some strange reason!
I feel you. At the very least I think if they fixed the underpowered loco spawns like they did for Sherman Hill recently, that would be great. I do a manifest with an AC4400 and I have an SD 40 trailing. Sand Patch is a difficult grade as it is so at least with the extra power from having all the locos be ac4400 would make it a little more bearable. Edit: also yeah the vegetation if updated would just be stunning in autumn. It's a beautiful area and is deserving of more happy trees instead of the sad trees currently there.
ECW would be my vote, GWE had a nice light upgrade to Paddington, though obviously not the whole route it certainly deserves a mention. the Class 313 was also relatively new and belongs on a relatively up to date route IMO I certainly wouldn’t complain for any though
