Quite a few smaller lines run ex-Tokyu units too, so you'll find these all over Japan

By the way, do you know what the 'X' signals along this route are for (e.g. at 4:00 in the cab ride video)? They seem to be placed before level crossings - with a red light at the top coming on when the level crossing begins to open (e.g. at 7:46 in the first video under the Rolling Stock section) - but I've never seen them on other routes.

They indicate the crossing is working. There's one just outside Keisei Narita station - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@35.7757667,140.3145896,3a,34.4y,238.5h,92.99t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1skyPiySKhXiidAqJ6db0D_w!2e0!6shttps://streetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com/v1/thumbnail?panoid=kyPiySKhXiidAqJ6db0D_w&cb_client=maps_sv.tactile.gps&w=203&h=100&yaw=1.6249868&pitch=0&thumbfov=100!7i16384!8i8192

There's also a few around the crossings South of Shinagawa on the Keikyu line

They seem to be more a private railway thing than a JR thing, a lot of the smaller railways grew out of tramways so evolved differently to JNR (later JR) .
