Suggestions For Steam Era Routes That Don't Require Steam Locos.

    Given that the implementation of steam in TSW is some distance away, there are obvious limitations on producing routes set during the steam era. However, as there have been railways in the past that used alternatives to steam either completely or in part, I thought that it would be interesting to create a space to list such routes. Anyway, here is a suggestion to get us started:

    The North Sunderland Railway.

    As the links above mention, the line obtained an Armstrong Whitworth diesel loco in 1933 that was used on both freight and passenger trains:

    Recreating this loco for TSW would be made possible by the existence of a preserved example at the Tanfield Railway:
