Train Sim World 3 Suggestions That Have Become Real

Is there a list of suggestions on this forum that have become real, either because DTG took on the suggestion, or would have anyway? Has anyone had a suggestion made? Would be interesting to see.

 

Some are more vague then others but here we go:

Bakerloo Line: Suggested constantly for an underground line and Bakerloo was decided
Sherman Hill: Loads of US freight suggestions and its a timeless classic for TSC and DTG thought itd do well
700: Suggested a lot
Brighton Main Line: Suggested a LOT
MML: Also suggested a lot
Class 484: Suggested a lot on the rivet forums
Scotrail express: Suggested a lot on the rivet forums aswell



There are probably more but forgot.

Then we got like 2/3rd of it with Koblenz-Mainz.

 

I suggested the Acela quite awhile ago, and so have many other people, hell it was probably the most suggested locomotive dlc at one point.

 

I proposed something similar to Linke Rheinstrecke a long time ago (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/cologne-mainz-in-the-1980s.16077/), along with a western Cornwall route, albeit modern day (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/western-cornwall-lines.18562/).

There's so many suggestions on here that most routes and locos are bound to have been suggested before.

 

On my signature I suggested Class 150/2 158 these are from the northern rail and looks like we got them a bit in a different paint instead of what I suggested Northern Rail Calder Valley Line .

I also vaguely remember suggesting both a better scoring system, and mappable controls. Well both of those are coming to TSW4

I suggested the ECML Peterborough-York, if you discount the Doncaster to York part then my suggestion became a reality!

 

Im noticing a lot of people think there suggestion got accepted because DTG included a part of it - Spoiler alert: It probably wasnt.

 

I remember making a post asking for liveries to be toggleable for whether they appear on services. And that is a feature coming with TSW4

This was 2 routes in one, but the ECML section suggested is the exact same, so I'm claiming it.

I also suggested EDN and Glossop Line (the latter as part of Manc - Sheffield lines) before they released.

 

i remember you suggesting that a while back and thinking 'i hope so much dtg do this!'

the addition of the lincoln branch would have been really good (my ecml suggestion was almost the same of yours, with doncaster to york added but without newark to lincoln).. i'm so happy we're getting doncaster to peterborough, i was convinced they were going to do the ecml but london to peterborough.. so i was very surprised and very happy with last week's announcement!

I remember, long ago, around when i joined the forums i suggested a Sandbox mode, where you spawn trains and do what you want, i guess that cane true with Free roam now a thing

 

I remember there was a huge surge of "Make a 313" Threads when the Coastway came out.

They made the wrong 313....
