I would really like to see the sunrise express. It has a very different looking train (285 series) and an interesting kind of service.
You might like to share that it is a long distance sleeper train running from Tokyo to the northwest at Takamatsu. The route is 500 miles long and takes 9 hours to traverse. There is 1 return working a day. It is an extremely beautiful machine and it goes through an extraordinarily beautiful route (in the day time section). But given the stats above it probably wouldn't reach tsw for a long while.
Yeah about the length of the route, I thought it would be possible, to basically "fake" it to some degree. Like take the most notable places and points of interest.
