    Swanage Railway - Route Proposal
As a volunteer and frequent visitor of this wonderful railway in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, i propose the Swanage Railway to all those who have interests, mainly in steam traction & heritage railways in general:

The railway features a grand total length of around 11 miles with 6 stations along the route:
Wareham - Mainline Station of which we have recently connected to via Worgret Junction.
Norden - Single platform and current SR limit of normal operation/services.
Corfe Castle - Double platform station serving the village of Corfe Castle.
Harmans Cross - Double platform station that serves as a passing point for services
Herston Halt - Single platform that is a request stop for passengers.
Swanage - Main terminus on the line giving passengers access to Swanage town & popular beach.

The line features gradients of around 1:75 through the beautiful Isle of Purbeck countryside. The railway has one turntable including coal filling & water filling at Swanage itself. The railway operates a intensive timetable throughout the year filling the tastes of steam and/or diesel lovers. Gala days see more frequent services with freight & passenger services too. The railway also operates dining services also - "The Dorsetman" & the "Wessex Belle".

The railway also uses the Electronic Token System throughout the line with mechanical upper quadrant semaphore signals to bring a authentic heritage line experience.

The railway operates mainly steam traction although does run diesel traction on selected timetables. With this the railway also has a large fleet of locomotives with some being non operational due to repairs/overhauls:

    Steam Locomotives:

    LSWR 4-4-0 T9 no.30120
    LSWR 0-4-4T M7 no. 30053
    LSWR 4-4-0 T3 no. 563

    BR 2-6-4T 4MT no. 80104

    SR 2-6-0 U-Class no. 31806
    SR 2-6-0 N-Class no. 31874
SR 4-6-2 Rebuilt 'West Country' Class no. 34028 "Eddystone"
SR 4-6-2 Unrebuilt 'Battle of Britain' Class no. 34070 "Manston"
SR 4-6-2 Unrebuilt 'Battle of Britain' Class no. 34072 "257 Squadron"
SR 4-6-2 Rebuilt 'Battle of Britain' Class no. 34053 "Sir Keith Park"

    Diesel Locomotives:

BR Class 33 "Hotdog" no. 33111
BR Class 33 "Lt Jenny Lewis" no. 33012/D6515
    BR Class 08 no. 08436
    BR Class 08 no. D3591
    BR Class 108 Unit - 51933 + 56504
BR Class 121 Unit no. W55028

This is one of many heritage lines i would love to see implicated into TSW.
Imagine the possibilities within multiplayer - separate driver & fireman undertaking their duties on the footplate. Getting outside the loco and doing oiling/lubrication, soot cleaning, coupling and water filling. Combined with possible signalmen & other crew for the railway would make a really great & interactive simulation for many!

I hope some of you would like to see this in TSW for the future or maybe some other heritage railway in the UK :)

    Much appreciated,

    Ben
