Just wondering if there’s a way to switch cabs without having to physically get up and walk to the other one? Like if I’m in the Rotem cabcar and I want to change ends to the F125, is there a way to easily do this? Maybe through a key combine. I tried searching all the keyboard assignments in each category but couldn’t find anything, unless I missed it.
Yeah, I just tested it and it works good, per the suggestion above. It’s CTRL and the minus or plus key. (CTRL - or CTRL +) Either one works.
It doesn't work perfectly- sometimes it shoves you into a headout view that you can't get out of with the arrow key. But if you keep hitting ctrl- and ctrl+ you'll eventually get to the cab you want. Also- if you didn't know, if you're on foot ctrl-0 will teleport you back to the last driver's seat you were in. Very useful after coupling.
Re-Switching Cabs , That’s a brilliant tip CTL + /- Key , works for me. Is there a way to look forward when looking out side cab windows ( usefull when entering stations).
It appears this no longer works after the latest update. I didn’t discover it until now. When you try to switch cabs, the screen just turns gray and TSW freezes. At that point, you only have the ability to access the pause menu and restart your session or exit out entirely but you can not resume running your train once you push CTRL + or - . I barely got to enjoy this before this latest update so now it’s back to walking in between cabs. Kinda a shame. Can anyone else confirm this issue?
Was wondering if anyone submitted a ticket for this? I was instructed to do so but not sure how much light of day it will see or if it will even be addressed in the next update considering it’s a bug with a basic core game feature. Walking to each locomotive/cabcar is tedious.
