A route I would love to see in TSW3 is the South Western Mainline from London Waterloo to Salisbury and Southampton Central including the Salisbury to Southampton line via Romsey. I think this would be a very popular route as you would a lot of variety in services including Local stopping SWR services from London Waterloo to Woking & Basingstoke using the Class 450 & 455. Fast and Semi Fast SWR services from London Waterloo to Woking that head towards Portsmouth after Woking using Class 444s & 450s. Fast SWR services from London Waterloo to Southampton Central that continue on to Bournemouth and Weymouth using the Class 444. Fast SWR services from London Waterloo to Salisbury using the Class 159. Local SWR services around Southampton using the class 450 & 159. GWR services from Salisbury to Southampton using the Class 158 and 166. Fast XC services From Basingstoke to Southampton Central and a Variety of Freight traffic as well. That's rather a lot to do! I think that included with the route should be the Class 158/9 in GWR, Ex SWT & SWR. Class 444 in both Ex SWT and SWR. The Class 450 in both Ex SWT and SWR and the Class 66 in EWS & Freightliner. For some DLCs I think the Class 455 in SWT. The Class 220/221 in XC and the Class 70 in Freightliner. People who own GWE, BML and/or East Coastway should get the Layers of the GWR Class 166 and Southern Class 377. Id love to hear what your opinions are :)

Issue is licensing, SWR wouldnt agree a license for the Isle Of Wright 2022 so unless this issue is resolved the idea is a none starter in my book.

I guess we could have a BR version line of the route, although not sure if this would appeal to as big of a market.

I would have the BR version every day of the week over a modern version.

Having a BR route would be unique and cool, but my preference is SWR (modern day) era, but sadly due to licensing issues we can't. So either BR or South West Trains maybe
