Before I start this, I want to say one thing quickly. I already suggested this route before as I would like to see it, and the other forum I made about the same exact route got no replies and not a lot of views. So I'm going for another shot at it, this time with a larger amount of stops. A route that is really wanted by the public is the South Western Main Line. Of course, we can't add all of it though because the like goes all the way from London to Weymouth, and it's about three hours long. So let's just add a short section to (probably) one of the most well known cities in England, Southampton, to the largest city in England, London. And if your a fan of rail in the Southern UK, you definitely would have heard of this line and several stops alongside it. This route will be operated by South West Trains, as Dovetail doesn't have the SWR license. Details about the route The route that this would run on is a large and complicated one, so let me just explain the main parts first then the branch lines. The line would run out of the largest station by passenger numbers to the busiest station in the UK by amount of trains, Clapham Junction. However though, several trains running express through Southampton and beyond would skip the station. Southern AI trains could appear at the station for people who have the BML. The line would then stretch through Wimbledon, which could also have Thameslink and Southern AI services for the people with the DLCs. Which on occasion, has trains stopping there. Select trains to Alton, Basingstoke, etc; will stop at some suburban stations between Surbiton to Woking. Trains would branch off here to Guildford via Claygate, which I will explain later. The line would then stretch through Weybridge and West Byfleet, and then finally reaching Woking, the terminus of several suburban services between Woking and Waterloo, but some will continue to Guildford. The line to Guildford would branch off here, serving Worplesdon in between. Getting back on track, after leaving Woking, trains would run a little bit faster and it would go through Farnborough (Main), where most services will stop at. It would finally arrive at Basingstoke, where GWR services also go through. Diesel services would branch off here too heading towards Sailsbury and Exter. After that, the line would proceed through Eastleigh, Southampton AP, and finally Southampton Central. The line via Claygate would run through the stop and Hinchley Wood, before proceeding to Claygate, Oxshott, Cobham and finally joining the line to Epsom at Effingham Junction. Finally, it would proceed to Guildford, joining the PDL. This will be the bulk of the Suburban services. The most common places you will see it on this route is via Claygate, stopping services between London Waterloo - Woking. The train was built in the 1980s and is used mainly for suburban services on the SWML and routes to Effingham Junction, etc. It's also used on the lines to Shepperton, Windsor and Reading. The Class 450 is the bulk of the SWR fleet and was also the bulk of the SWT fleet. It's operated on semi-fast suburban routes such as London - Bakingstoke, London - Alton, etc. It's also used on routes to Reading and the routes to Alton and Weybridge. For longer distance services, it's used on routes to Southampton, the Lymington branch, the PDL, the Southampton-Portsmouth & SS route and sometimes the route to Bournemouth. It was first built in 2004 and still serves the network today. The Class 444 is used on long distance routes, really only on the Portsmouth Direct and South Western Main Lines. They are used for express services to Portsmouth and Haslemere. On the SWML, they are used on trains to SAP, express services to Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth. These trains will also built around the same time as the Class 450. The Class 158 is one of two diesel trains used on SWR today (and was used on SWT). It is used on the lines to Sailsbury, Romsey, Exter and Westbury. It was formerly used on the lines to Bristol Temple Meads, which was cancelled by SWR in the early 2020s. I don't know exactly when, but they did. These trains first were built in 1989. They are similar to the Class 159 used only by South Western Railway and formerly by SWT and Network SouthEast. This is why I think- I know that the SWML should be added to TSW3.
Not bro being the only guy who replied and somehow his other forum posts get more viewers than the routes he actually wants
