The Southern Wales Main Line is a classic part of the Welsh rail network. The most notorious part is between Swansea & Cardiff. Ninian Park/Parc Ninian Pontyclun Llanharan Pencoed Bridgend/Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr (This station is served by an array of services from Milford Haven to Manchester Piccadilly, Pembroke Dock to London Paddington and the odd service to Bargoed) Pyle/Y-Pîl Port Talbot Parkway/Parcffordd Port Talbot Baglan Briton Ferry/Llansawel Neath/Castell-nedd Skewen/Sgiwen Llansamlet Swansea/Abertawe (The northwestern terminus of this route and the beautiful city it is) Rolling Stock British Rail Class 175 DMU (Transport For Wales/Trafnidiaeth Cymru) This British workhorse was the face of Trafnidiaeth Cyrmru until their withdrawal in 2023.
