This doesnt mean anything, the designer probably just used any train they could find without thinking too much. believe the talent 2 is too big for UK loading gauge
Do you have in the UK also these wind energy propellors? Because I didn't see much of them in UK documentaries. In Germany, these are used a lot. Especially at the north sea area towards the UK are big parks with them. That's why I would raise the concern whether the creator of the poster maybe used a german stock animation and just put the flag, the "Getting Britian Moving" and the Labour logo together into a new poster.
There were quite a few wind turbines erected at one time, and in some environments I think they actually look good and add visual interest (while accepting they’re not suitable for all locations). However, the UK government effectively banned all on-shore wind development in (I think) 2015 so we’ve pretty much stood still since then, while other countries have moved forward with this form of renewable energy. We have an increasing number of fields full of solar panels instead, so the government is talking about banning them too.
Definitely yes , they are quite prominent around the fields of Durham, I believe one of them sites off the coast to the south part also sends electricity to Denmark or the Netherlands if recall correctly.
I am not going to venture into the politics of rail or owt here as well it is for the best, but with the green energy I am not against it personally and actually there is certainly evidence of it along my routes and actually in some places I quite like the looks of the turbines, though the solar things are horrendously ugly. However, I think that it needs more thought done to it as there is an advancing plan to have a rather large solar thing just south of where I live, and the construction of it would cause havoc for getting anywhere by car, and when it is done a fair few of the paths and fields I take the dog through will have vanished. Luckily my village will only be mildly affected compared to others, one of which will be near enough surrounded by them. There are obviously various other impacts it will have but frankly I have got better things to do than list them! Edit: What on earth does this have to do with TSW?
Apparently Labour announced in February that they will lift the ban on new on-shore wind. I hadn’t realised that (only went looking for it because I thought it was curious that they included wind turbines in the picture).
