Wonder if Talyllyn would give the license to DTG. I want a narrow gauge route and I would hope real steam fans would want this too.
with the amount of steam-related suggestions, I'm suprised that not many people are aware that DTG are not doing steam at the moment.
Don't be so defensive, no one said you didn't. It only takes a little reading through prior steam suggestion posts and DTG statements to know that it is no longer a thing anymore.
In deference to the OP I would love a Welsh narrow gauge line, not just Talyllyn but the WHR/Ffestiniog complex too. But DTG have effectively slammed the door, it seems until both routes are electrified and operated by narrow gauge one handle Electrostars and Desiros.
