I want to propose an idea I had while playing Mittenwaldbahn, the route is excellent but one thing I really disliked is how long it takes to notch up and down the throttle on the 1020, so my idea is to add an accessibility option where you can simply tap the throttle and it'll increase/decrease power without having to hold the button down for several seconds, that way it frees up my hand that could be used to apply brakes, acknowledge a safety system etc. Then once the desired power has been reached I simply tap the button again and it holds it there.

To give an example say i'm driving the 1020 uphill so I tap R2 in my case on PlayStation and the throttle applies for me without having to hold it down, after about 6 notches I tap it again to maintain power. Then I start to go downhill so I tap R1 this time to power down until it reaches zero.

I think this would be very useful when using tap changer locos like the 1020 or the Class 87 or any other loco that requires long button holds.

1020 I found not too bad, but when I drove the 111 I was constantly fighting it staying in Run Up even with the gentlest of taps.
