    Drive along the scenic railways of north Devon including the major city of Exeter and several rural towns and take a step back and enjoy the views of the Devon countryside in Train Sim world 3: Tarka line: Exeter - Barnstaple

    Hello all! Today I will suggesting the Tarka Line, a 39 miles long (62.76 km) route operated by GWR from Exeter st David and Barnstaple. This line fully opened all the way back in 1854 under London and South Western Railway. Back in 2001 Southern took over but 5 years later, (2006) GWR took control of services along the route. It is also in the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership.

It opened in 1854 but from 1874 until 1970 it was known as Barnstaple Junction railway station as it was the junction between lines to Ilfracombe, Bideford, Taunton and Exeter.

    Wait... do the 166 run on the line with the 158.. I need to fact check that.. also would hst's be included as layering in the Exeter area?
