    I figured to suggest this as I find the Turkish Railways to be one of the most interesting, and I've never seen a suggestion like this or seen any train simulator have Turkish tracks before.

    The railway is used by the Turkish State Railway premier high-speed passenger service, YHT (High-Speed Train), which operates two routes on the line; Istanbul-Konya (- Karaman) and Ankara-Konya (- Karaman). The railway was opened on 23 August 2011, making it the second high-speed railway in Turkey.

    The Ankara - Konya line is 317km long, with stops at;

    0,000 km (0 mi)
    Ankara YHT Garı (Station)

    20,795 km (12,921 mi)
    Eryaman YHT Garı (Station)

    93,144 km (57,877 mi)
    Polatlı YHT Garı (Station)

    308,405 km (191,634 mi)
    Selçuklu YHT Garı (Station)

    317,267 km (197,141 mi)
    Konya Garı (Station)

    All operate with a speed of 200 - 300kmh, once arriving in the city, the train driver is only allowed up to 70 - 80 kmh.

    Trains used on this line:
    [IMG]
    (TCDD HT80000 (Siemens Velaro TR))

    [IMG]
    (TCDD HT65000)

    Both above are high-speed trains, regional trains are also used which include;

    [IMG]
    Toros Ekspresi (Operates between Konya - Karaman, does not stop at Selcuklu).

    While I already know this line is extremely long, there's one more thing that could be amazing if added;

    Konya - Karaman (102,2 km)

    The regional Toros Ekspresi operates on this line, and since January, the high-speed train also operates on this line.

    Stops:

    0 km (0 mi)
    Konya Garı (Station)

    23,1 km (14,3 mi) (HIGH-SPEED TRAIN DOES NOT STOP HERE)
    Kaşınhan İstasyon (Station)

    46 km (28,5 mi)
    Çumra Garı (Station)

    102 km (63 mi)
    Karaman Garı (Station)

    This line operates at 200 kmh, when the high speed train passes through Kaşınhan, the driver is only allowed up to 170km (30km if there's a lot of snow) until they've passed the station. Once arriving in the cities, the driver is only allowed up to 70 - 80 kmh.

    Thank you for reading, here's a map of the line:

    Even if DTG were to look at a Turkish route, you’re not going to get 300km plus, need to nominate something in the region of 60 to 80km.

    To make it realistic try aiming for 120 kilometers 75 miles or 230 km 145 mi Eskişehir Ankara line. Route length currently too long

    You could see Stanier 8Fs running in Turkey until surprisingly recently.

    Thank you both for your input, I completely agree with both of you. I figured to put these as well just to give it a shot, and since they are also newly opened routes.

    -----------------------

    Eskisehir - Ankara

    0,000 km (0 mi)
    Ankara YHT Garı

    20,795 km (12,921 mi)
    Eryaman YHT Garı

    93,144 km (57,877 mi)
    Polatlı YHT Garı

    282,429 km (175,493 mi)
    Eskişehir Garı

    One thing I'm disappointed in is that most of these routes don't have many stations, I hope that it's not going to be an issue if this is ever going to be considered.

    Wouldn't mind a Turkish route, but I'd hate to see another dedicated high speed route that turns out to be a one trick pony just like LGV Marseille-Avignon.
