Hi all, Am I led to believe that the shadow pop in has to be ran through over a few runs on the routes in order for them to become more stable? I know this is true on pc but is it the same on console? I was running a route on SEHS earlier to Dartford for the first time on tsw4 and it was pretty awful with trees and shadows forming. Does it get better on subsequent runs? can anyone at DTG answer this? Or is it my Xbox series x? Or is it just the engine? I don’t remember it being that bad in tsw3
Shader compilation isn't a thing for console users, all shaders are pre-compiled before we see the game, running the same route multiple times won't make any difference to stutter on consoles.
