    I found this on YouTube. A little taste of real life at Teesside back in 1988. The Ashington and Sleekburn stuff is in Northumberland. Possibly a potential new route. Blyth Tyne and Ashington. Biomass trains run this route to Lynemouth power station.

    I remember the old tracks through Blyth back in the day before they ripped most of them up. As kids we used to play on all the overgrown ones a bunch, they made for nice shortcuts to get between different parts of town. It's a shame they built housing over a bunch of them as they could have pretty cheaply laid a solid direct cycle path from Newsham to Cowpen.
