    Introduction:
This loco add-on will include 2 new locomotives, and a multiple unit for the tees valley route, as well as adding in some extra layers to the route.

    The locos:

    British rail class 56 "Grid"

The class 56 is a locomotive primarily used for freight. It is powered by ruston paxman 16RK3CT unit, with a power output of 3,250HP. These locomotives have a similar design to the class 47s, although have some differences.
    Top speed: 80mph
Layers: BR era routes set after 1977, railtours.
Liveries: BR blue, BR railfreight grey

    British rail class 58 "bone"
The class 58 is a heavy diesel freight locomotive which is also used for heavy freight operations, these are powered by a ruston paxman 12RK3ACT, with a total power output of 3,300HP, being built between 1983 and 1987.
    Top speed: 80mph
Layers: BR era routes set after 1983
Liveries: BR railfreight red stripe, BR railfreight grey

    Class 143
The class 143 is a 2 car diesel multiple unit derived from the Leyland national bus. They are very similar to the class 142s, with the same engines. They would substitute for the class 101 in the timetable, as they ran alongside one another for a while.
    Top speed: 75mph
    Layers: BP branches, WCL
    Liveries: BR provincial blue

    Class 150
The class 150 would substitute for the class 101 and 143, Albeit a lot rarer.

    Overall:
This loco add on would add extra variety on the route, bring a few extra BR era locomotives to the game, and could perhaps be added alongside a TOD4 update to the route as well.

Long long long overdue at this point. All highly worthy of being added to TVL for a whole ton of variety.

56, 58, and 143 are adorable . Maybe with a good route update and extension!

56's and 143's definitely. Not so sure the 150's had much of a presence on Teeside and Tyneside.

Yeah the 150s rarely ran if they did at all, I just added it in so players have the option to run it if they wished

All would be great, but even a freight loco (58 I would vote of the 2 here for extra differences) and of course the pacer layers would be brilliant

one of my most local routes so extra points to make it even better.

Yes. would be hard to get sounds for the 58 but apart from that yes. TBH, the older TSW routes such as GWE, NTP & TVL are in need for more stock. It's already annoying that we only get 1 new train per route these days with the developers relying on layers from other routes to fill the timetable.

Exactly what I think too. A little love for these routes would be much appreciated.
