Get ready for a very chunky and big suggestion!

    Introduction

Hello! Today I am suggesting the 35 mile route of Israel from Tel Aviv-Savidor Center to Jerusalem-Yitzhak Navon, via Ben Gurion Airport. I would mainly suggest it for the both historic & modern periods. Reasoning will be later on.

    Rough route map:
    Tel Aviv-Savidor Center - Jerusalem-Yitzhak Navon

    ^(West = Tel Aviv, Central = Ben Gurion Airport, East = Jerusalem)^

    The route and stations:
The High Speed Railway from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is Israel Railways' 1st electrified route for services to Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It has many important stations such as Tel Aviv-Savidor Center, Tel Aviv-HaShalom, Tel Aviv-HaHagana & Ben Gurion Airport.

There are 4 stations on the network and around 35 miles of track. Fastest routes take around 45 minutes.

    Tel Aviv Stations:

    Tel Aviv-Savidor Center
    Tlvgenel002.jpg
Tel Aviv-Savidor Center is Tel Aviv's home to Israel Railways' services from Haifa, Be'er Sheva and Jerusalem. It has 6 island platforms.

    Tel Aviv-HaShalom

    Tel Aviv-HaHagana
    TelAvivHaHagana.jpg
Tel Aviv-HaHagana is Tel Aviv's southern station for Israel Railways' services from Haifa, Be'er Sheva and Jerusalem. It has 5 platforms.

    Ben Gurion Airport
    Ben_Gurion_Airport_Railway_Station.jpg
Ben Gurion Airport is Israel's only airport rail link to the country's largest cities through the airport's Railway Station, located under Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport.

    Jerusalem-Yitzhak Navon

Jerusalem-Yitzhak Navon is Jerusalem's new Underground railway station located next to both it's central & historic city neighborhoods. It's at a depth of 80 meters underground and has 4 island platforms.

    Now onto the trains...

There are plenty of trains that can be put onto the route.

Just a few videos to finalise the suggestion.

    Overall:

This is a big route and I won't be surprised if it isn't all included, but it would absolutely great if it was made. The gameplay is tremendous and loads of stuff is here to do. I've had my say now, but what is yours? Would you like to see this and do you have any ways I can add to my suggestion or change?

Thank you for reading this chunky suggestion and hope you have a great day! :)

As stated previously, political hot potato. Licensing about as likely same getting a Ferrari for my birthday as there will be no access for research or replication of operational systems due to security concerns.

What normal person would want a Ferrari for their birthday?
(I know you were trying to sound snide and cool) But I have had enough of this targeting stuff.

Not being snide, just realistic (and a bit whimsical, obviously sense of humour failure somewhere). OP has made a habit of spamming same or similar requests knowing full well DTG will not touch any route in a country or area that is politically conflicted or where railways and their operations would be regarded as secure even military zones.

"As such, the railway is often referred to in Israel as the high-speed railway to Jerusalem to distinguish it from the older, longer and slower line. In spite of that name, the line is not high-speed under the definition used by the International Union of Railways: both its design speed of 200 km/h (125 mph) and its current operational speed of 160 km/h (99 mph) are below the 250 km/h (155 mph) threshold used by the UIC to define high-speed railways, and it is traversed by IR's regular rolling stock[a] instead of the UIC requirement for specially-designed high-speed trains."
so atm, it is "just" a fast route... 200 kph could be considered a highspeed route but from what I have read, no trains run that speed there yet... would be nice to see it in TSW, but as others have said, I dont see that happening anytime soon :)

I have actually looked at the path of the classic line from Lod to Jerusalem on Google Earth and various mapping sites and it looks most spectacular. It is just a shame that the real world situation prevents so much from ever getting built in TSW. So no-one think my comments to the OP are meant to be disagreeable, I’m the first to put forward the “World” in TSW should mean more than the few countries we have.

And I guess the counterpoint to my view is there doesn’t seem any restriction on putting fairly accurately modelled airports from Israel et al into flight sims.

I don't think Israel has high speed trains at the moment so I wouldn't call it a high speed route because it has to have high speed trains to it to be a highspeed route plus you didn't even mention any highspeed trains but apart from all that, great suggestion.:D

Wiki says it has design speed of 200 kph on some sections, but I guess they dont have suitable trains to run at that speed... yet
