Yes. I know. Part of this route I am requesting for the third time already, but with a section going all the way to Austin from Taylor, adding an additional 35 miles to the route. This can also add the Amtrak Austin station, so there's 3 stations to stop at. Union Pacific mainly runs on the line since they own it, having their priorities over Amtrak. The route itself goes across the plains. This here would be going out of Texas' state capital, Austin. Making it go from a big city to more rural areas and just out there while passing a few towns. So here is some information about the route. Just like the time it takes to get across the Cajon Pass, this route also takes 2 hours. Union Pacific freight trains in TSW3 have to have their realities bent and just stop at the stations for crew changes. Both at Austin and Temple. There should be services though that go half the route to Taylor, where a big Union Pacific yard is, where they terminate in the yard, make a crew change there and start rolling again, or just go past it without stopping. A variety of locomotives need to be on this route for UP. I can't decide which locomotives. I can see as many UP services as Cane Creek, hence the route only being a single track with atleast only a couple of sidings. Austin station is unique for being at the capital and also very close to the old MoPac bridge that crosses the Colorado River. Taylor station is there just by the yard, nothing that special. Temple station is very unique, attracting many visitors to the city because of the BNSF and UP lines crossing each other, the live heritage museum with very old railroad equipment on display, and the 3 story building that used to be owned by Santa Fe. Amtrak can make a great addition to the route, running its regular schedule first then make something fake by adding a night Amtrak service that will run between the same stations and make the same stops. Going from Temple to Austin on a 1 Hour 39 minutes ride and then come back from Austin to Temple on its same schedule. At first waiting at a siding north of Temple, then come back to it, adding an additional 2 services for Amtrak, making a total of 4 services. One real schedule with 1 P42DC and 5 Superliners and the fake schedule with 2 P42DCs each on one end and 3 Superliners. Scenario count of 8, 5 UP and 3 AMTK.

Wait is this part of the Heartland Flyer route? Also TSW has been around for well over 5 years and still the most iconic American locomotive STILL hasn't been added? That's like if dovetail waited until midland mainline to release the HST for the first time.

The Heartland flyer only goes as south as Fort Worth. It doesn't go down to Temple. The fake schedule train I requested was the formation of the Heartland Flyer, but it doesn't mean I'm requesting that one. If I wanted to request the Heartland Flyer, it would have to be the entire route from OKC to FWT, which is 200 miles and takes 4 hours to get between the two by that train. Atleast the Texas Eagle here that I requested back on a different post runs this route on its two train real daily schedule.

That's debatable, I feel like the F40 and the SD40-2 are more Iconic to American Railroading as a whole vs the P42DC

Ahh yes. F40PHs. We haven't seen any other F40s than CT and MBTA. Amtrak F40PHs would be nice to have, more over that without ditchlights like older locomotives. Phase 3 should do.
