Hello everyone, I currently own the game Train Sim World 4 and love to play it but I have not been playing it in recent times due to some weird bug with the textures on the locomotives, freight & passenger cars, and the tracks. I have some pictures of what the glitch is. I’ve been told that the problem has to do with the console. I currently play the game on an Xbox 1. What I’ve been told is that these older consoles don’t like the textures. This issue must be fixed at once. What confuses me is that it seems that this issue isn’t fixable or it hasn’t been addressed. I know that it’s easily fixable. But what’s also puzzling is that my Xbox 1 seemed to handle the graphics just fine without issues before hand. That’s all is I have to say. Also, one last thing, if there is a way to fix this issue, please let me know.
The older hardware reason doesn't wash with me, as this wasn't such a blaring issue before certain recent updates. That and it's affecting every xbox iteration. That just comes off as an easy go-to scapegoat from fanboys & whiners. For me at least, the game is unplayable now, it's just so damn ugly! I want to enjoy liveries & cab interiors as intended, but this bug, no matter how easy to solve, dampens the experience somewhat. No excuse for how much we pay for these items! DTG should be ashamed frankly.
I have this problem too on my Xbox One. I haven't done a full journey on any route I have installed due to this bug, especially on my favourite ECML: Peterborough - Doncaster. It always crashes when loading into Doncaster or approaching and departing the station.
