Today for the first edition of TFT6439 Storytimes we will be going over people who got their driving license from a cereal box. (In the style of a Wham Baan Teslacam video ) (2019): I was driving about 50mph out of Breamore when I was overtook by a Black BMW. Dosen't end there. The car then went on to overtake another car and was inches from having a head on with an Aqua Nissan Micra. It was genuinely terrifying to watch. (Early 2019 Late 2018): I was driving to Poole via Ashley Heath from Verwood when I got on to a long straight with around 5 or more cars in the oncoming lane when all of a sudden a Audi made an attempt to overtake all cars coming straight towards me and only just squeezed between me and the front car with less then an meter between us. My heart almost stopped. And it certainly would if me and the other front car were going any quicker. It would probably if not definitely be a situation where even Airbags wouldnt save me. (Mid - Late 2022): I was driving towards Salisbury (Took Place Inbetween Downton and Breamore) when there was 2 cars going towards me in the opposite lane a BMW i8 overtook the car in the opposite lane and left a good amount of space between us while overtaking however just before passing (let's keep it PG) he gave the Middle Salute. People like that make me question how they passed their test. (May 2022): I was driving to McDonald's on the M27 near Ringwood when I was being tailgated by a Dacia 4x4 then the Dacia went on to pass me in the next lane when a poor Mercedes was less then a meter from being rear-ended by of course, the Dacia. Then the Dacia on purpose slowed down to floor it to just inches from the Mercedes. Where on the M27 this was there were trees in the middle separating both sides when the Dacia made a failed undertake by those trees. Then I pulled into McDonald's so whatever happened after is not my business. (2018): I was driving on a large backroad somewhere in Hampshire when I passed an Vauxhall where there was plenty of space for the both of us when they fell in the ditch. So ofc I stopped and coupled our cars up and over half an hour + lorries and tractors trying to pass later I got them out. I am yet to crash a car or get in an accident however have more close calls then I can count. That is it for this edition of TFT6439 Storytimes and I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next time.
There is a level crossing near my local pub and you can see it from the benches outside and in the summer me and the wife regularly go there for our tea rather than cooking and the amount of people who blast through when it's flashing is rather ridiculous and rather unnerving really. Luckily I live in the middle of nowhere so don't have to do too much city driving but when I do I always say to whoever's in the car that I wish I were an undercover copper as there are so many people who can't seem to grasp basic rules of the road. Anyway I feel much better now!
