Hi guys today I’m going to be suggesting a TGV route between Gare de I’Est in Paris to a station called Gare de Metz which is located in the town named Metz.
The distance of the journey is 174 miles (280km).
This journey takes around 1hr and 30 minutes.
The trains included are the: TGV Sud-Est.
This route is also set in the year 2012.
Let’s have a look at details about the TGV Sud-Est.
It is one of the fastest trains ever built in Europe.
On the 26th of February 1981 it set the world record speed for rail when it reached 380km/h.
Let’s have a look at the details about this train.
The SNCF TGV Sud-Est was a French high speed TGV train built by Alstom and Francorail-MTE and operated by SNCF, the French national railway company. A total of 111 trainsets were built between 1978 and 1988 for the first TGV service in France between Paris and Lyon which opened in 1981. The trainsets were semi-permanently coupled, consisting of two power cars (locomotives) and eight articulated passenger carriages, ten in the case of the tri-voltage sets. The trains were named after the Ligne à Grande Vitesse Sud-Est (lit. 'Southeast high-speed line') that they first operated on. They were also referred to as TGV-PSE, an abbreviation of Paris Sud-Est.
This train first entered service in the year 1981 after it broke the record speed for rail.
The Manufacturer of this train was Alstom/Francorail-MTE. 111 of this units were built on the TGV Network, 4 have been preserved according to Wikipedia.
107 of this units have already been scrapped which means these are now put out of service probably because of the newly built TGV trains.
This units successor was TGV POS which is the one that replaced these trains.
There are 2 power cars and 8 passenger carriages.
The capacity for passengers is 287-355
TGV is owned by a company called SNCF, in around 2017, SNCF rebranded TGV and branded it into a grey, white and red color.
Now let’s look at the specifications.
the train length is 200m (656 ft 2 in).
The width of the motor car is 2.81m (9 ft 3 in).
    The trailer is 2.904m (9ft 6.3 in).
The maximum speed is 300km/h (186mph)
It is originally 260km/h or 162mph.
The weight is 385 t (379 long tons; 424 short tons) (bi current).
The power output is 6,800 kW (9,119hp) @
    25 kV AC
    3,100 kW (4,157hp) @
    1.5 kV DC.
Electric Systems, 25 kV 50 Hz AC
    1500 V DC
    Overhead catenary.
    Current collectors, Pantograph.
This is the UIC classification, Bo ‘Bo’-Bo’
    +2’2’2’2’2’2’2’+Bo’-Bo’Bo’.
Here are the braking systems, Pneumatic and Regenerative.
The safety system is TVM-300, KVB.
The track gauge is 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in)
    standard gauge.

Now let’s look at what this train looks like.

This is what the TGV Sud Est looked like in 2012, the color of this train is grey and dark blue. These trains used to be coloured orange back in the 1980s.

This is the driver cab of the TGV Sud Est,
The design of the cab is actually not bad.
These units are already gone now in real life.

This is the passenger interior of this train.
The seats have a grey maquette with a blue color at the bottom.

This is the first class interior of the TGV Sud Est. On the left hand side you have your own privacy which comes quite handy on these trains.

This picture shows where the engine of the train is located. On the nose of the train you get the engine, On the centre of the power car that is where the motor of the unit is located, if you look on the roof you can see the pantograph which lifts up and connects and uses the power from the overhead wires.

These are the carriages that the power cars connect to, on some carriages there is a color near the end of the carriage, at the end of certain carriages you will find the a red color and on the next carriage it will be cyan.

Now let’s move onto the route and map.
The route distance is 174m (280km). The journey is 1hr and 30 minutes-1hr and 50 minutes.
    upload_2023-11-19_15-55-27.jpeg
This is the map between Gare de I’Est and Gare de Metz. There is a station half way through the journey aswell, certain journeys serve that station.
The route serves Gare de I’Est, Champagne-Ardenne and Gare de Metz.
Let’s look at details about Gare de I’Est,
    upload_2023-11-19_15-59-15.jpeg
This is the station building of Gare de I’Est,
It is one of the seven large mainline railway station terminals that are in Paris, France. It is located in the 10th arrondissement, not far southeast from the Gare du Nord, facing the Boulevard de Strasbourg, part of the north-south axis of Paris created by Georges-Eugène Haussmann. The station first opened on the 5th of July 1849. The station is currently managed by SNCF, the company that manages TGV.
    upload_2023-11-19_16-7-17.jpeg
These are the platforms in Gare de I’Est, the platforms are long as the trains that arrive at this station are quite long, At this station in real life there are other train services that would serve this stop.
Can no one please comment as I’m not finished yet.

i say that there was not SE on this LGV specialy the TGV R 5** and pos 4400 + the ICE 3 in 2012 so it's not possible and not realistic because all R from the LGV north (nord) was transfert to LGV est européenne in 2007 + a renovation and pos trainset was new power motor with old réseau coaches
