Hello everyone I would propose to you today the Thameslink Brighton- St Pancras International routes with the class 319/1, class 387 and class 700 . We're going talk first about Thameslink.

    Thameslink
is a British rail concession located in the London area. It has 225 km of lines, and 50 stations on a North-South axis between Bedford and Brighton via London and London-Gatwick Airport and, since 2018, between Peterborough, Stevenage and Horsham via London and London-Gatwick via the tunnel from Snow Hill. It is an important area of the London suburbs which acts as a regional express network and further serves Gatwick and Luton airports. The annual traffic amounts to around 40 million travelers. Why am I suggesting this route to you? Because it's a route that players liked quite a bit in the train simulator version on PC. That it would just be necessary to produce the same route From St Pancras International to Brighton in Train sim World 2 version. Knowing that part of this network is shared with London Commuter with class 377 and class 378 London Brighton to London Victoria that we have on Train sim World 2 rush hour from Brighton to East Croydon. It takes an average of 1h 30m to travel from Brighton to London St Pancras International by train, over a distance of around 49 miles (78 km). There are normally 140 trains per day travelling from Brighton to London St Pancras International
    Journey time: From 1h 18m
    Distance: 49 miles (78 km)
    Frequency: 140 trains per day
    First train: 04:12
    Last train: 00:04
    Departure station: Brighton
Arrival station: London St Pancras International
    Changes: Direct trains available
    Train operators: Thameslink

Now let's talk about rolling stock:

Class 319/1: The British Rail Class 319 is a dual-voltage electric multiple-unit passenger train capable of operating on 25 kV 50 Hz AC from overhead wires or 750 V DC from a third rail. The class 319 have 4 cars and hitched 2 cars of 4 to make 8 This batch of 26 units was numbered in the range 319161–186. The formation of the second batch of sets was similar to that of the 319/0 units, with the addition of first-class seating at one end of the train for use on longer-distance Bedford to Brighton services. Like the first batch, standard-class seating was of a 2 + 3 layout. First-class seating was in 2 + 2 layout.

    Class 387/1:
The British Rail Class 387 is a type of electric multiple unit passenger train built by Bombardier Transportation as part of the Electrostar family. A total of 107 units were built, with the first train entering service with Thameslink. The Class 387/1 fleet is subdivided into a Class 387/1a fleet which has been fitted with the ETCS signalling system for use in the Heathrow Airport railway tunnels. The class 387/1 have 4 cars and hitched 2 cars of 4 to make 8. unnamed.jpg

    Class 700:

The British Rail Class 700 Desiro City is a dual-voltage electric multiple-unit passenger train capable of operating on 25 kV 50 Hz AC from overhead wires or 750 V DC. 115 trainsets were built between 2014 and 2018, for use on the Thameslink network
A fleet of 60 eight-car and 55 twelve-car trains entered service between Spring 2016 and 2019. Having replaced Class 319s, 377s, and 387s, Class 700s are the only trains operated on the Thameslink network. Each train is able to reach 100 mph (160 km/h) and carry 1146 passengers in an 8-car train, and 1754 passengers in a 12-car train. Maintenance depots have been built at Hornsey and Three Bridges.

319/387 more likely than 700 which seems to have licensing issues to do with the unit owners

I'd prefer the 700 simply because it unclogs a limit going forwards on routes such as the MML, North Kent Lines, Chatham Mainline etc, but yeah backwards in time the 319 would be a good unit to have for the BML and MML (they never went on CML or NKL)

    Eh...

We just going to ignore the 8 trains an hour on the BML (8 between East Croydon and Gatwick) ran by Thameslink's 700s driverwoods#1787?

Sorry but these pictures are of the wrong train. The 319’s when they left thameslink had the FCC moquette, as opposed to the northern electrics. The cab is from TS22.

Also the pictures of the electrostar interior is not the 387, it is the 379.

Attached is the FCC interior of a 319 and the GTR class 378
