.Thameslink serves The MML from Bedford,Luton, ST Albans city, and ECML from Peterborough and Cambridge so which one of those routes would be considered the mainline for Thameslink
I thought the thameslink core was the mainline for thameslink but then again I'm no expert in British rail companies
The ECML, MML, and BML can all be considered the 700s mainline. The core is not really a mainline in the traditional sense but is common denominator in the TL routes.
It's not really a mainline, but more of what I would class as a commuter belt where trains only start to stop again. I wasn't going to include the Brighton Mainline for the same reason but didn't want to have my head bit off.
