As we reach the end of 2024, I just want to take a moment to say thank you and share how much I’ve appreciated this year - both personally and in the world of Train Simulation. This year’s been awesome, with so many fantastic new stuff. From my point of view, TSW5 came with some of the absolute best content we’ve ever had in the series. While there will always be a mix of opinions, I think this year has been a huge win for both the DTG team and the community. Massive thanks to the team at DTG for all the effort you’ve put in - you’ve made this year so enjoyable for so many of us! I also want to give a huge shoutout to the community here on the forums. Since I joined in April, I’ve always felt welcomed. Whether it was help with questions in the PC Editor Discussion, constructive feedback on my ideas in the Suggestions subforum, or just fun, random discussions, the community is truly something special! You’re the heart of Train Sim World, and being part of this group is amazing. And, of course, a massive thank you to the modding community. The work you do is incredible - especially since everything is freeware. Talking about both the already available mods that enhance the whole experience as well as those working on entire new routes in the PC Editor Discussion, your dedication and passion are incredibly respectable. I can’t wait to see what’s next from you! (And I hope I'll be able to share some details about my own project next year ) All in all, it’s been an unforgettable year, and I’m so grateful to be part of this wonderful community.
