@DTG_all Thank you for fixing the Screen View. I've been jumping from loco to loco, just pressing buttons like a little kid. You kept your word, JD. It really meant a lot.
Sadly not working over in PS5 land, crosshair appears and can be moved, but pressing any on-screen buttons doesn't do anything
It’s working fine on my PS5. I was able to switch screens on the 390 (though only a couple of them do anything anyway) and set up a Vectron ok.
It is working for trains such as the 390, Vectron and ICE which are not touchscreens and you have to push buttons relating to the screen functions. You just press X when the cursor is on the screen then use the left stick to move the crosshairs over whichever function you want. You should also be able to use the d pad but unfortunately it will also trigger the doors. However for trains like the 385 which are touchscreen, doesn’t work at all. So half a fix from DTG in this case. Clearly not tested with all types of screens.
You may have to enable the option in settings. Go the 'HUD and Gameplay' then set the appropriate setting to 'enchanced' I have it set to 'Classic' here, because I'm on PC, so I can use the mouse easily.
Ah right, I think I've misunderstood what this feature was. I thought it was so you could change controls on a separate locomotive, say if you were running a steam rail tour with a diesel at the back while maintaining control of the locomotive at the front, a bit like banking coms. Am I wrong?
You have indeed misunderstood. All it does is zoom into any screen on any train and then you can click on the screens much more easily.
