The Amtrak Hiawatha is an 86-mile (138 km) train route that operates between Chicago, Illinois, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Railroad CPKC owns this track, but lets Amtrak & Commuter rail use it. The journey typically takes about 90 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Its a perfect short, traffic filled route connecting major cities. There is also a Metra route Milwaukee District North, originating @ Chicago, that splits off at Rondout, IL for Libertyville, IL. The equipment on this route consists of:

    SC-44 charger locomotive
    Amtrak Midwest venture cars
    Metra SD70MACH
    Metra gallery cars (most variants)
    Amtrak NPCU F40.

This forum was focused mostly on Amtrak & Metra, so please give more details if you can find them. This forum is just about the basic details of the route.

I like how you said it’s “perfect short” even though it’s 86 miles long which the game probably won’t be able to handle.
