In the end of this video you see that no panto has contact with the roof and still, the right MFD shows that power is available
Gotta love how the frame markings were all taken from a passenger engine, presumably a 147. DB Regio? A passenger brake set?
Lots of interesting trivia in that video. Like the fact that the 187 started life as a TS classic add-on with both the 147 and 187 before Skyhook decided to switch it over to TSW and ditch the 147, but still copy the 147 research material for the markings.
There is also PZB bug if loco si driven form CAB1. It only show blinking yellow 1000Hz/speed under 100km/h like when reversing. Problem affects banker return services on MSB and others where you run loco in both directions (RSN, HBK). edit 23/10/2021: Just to clarify PZB situation CAB1 - Froward - buged blinking 1000Hz/ max.100km/h CAB1 - Reversing - OK CAB2 - Froward - OK CAB2 - Reversing - buged (normal operation like driving forward) Seams like PZB system in <1-2 loco direction is two times inverted because 1-2> work OK
Yeah, I hope they've seen this topic and the whole list of bugs and going to do something about it, because it drives like garbage currently...
I just contacted Skyhook Games and besides the patch from 3rd of November, they are also working on the other bugs. In cleaned my first post a little bit to make it somewhat easier the to read and added explanation why the bugs, are bugs...
Well done. I opened a ticket at dovetail and this was their response which did not help at all. Seems like a first reply in a customer playbook: Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble unlocking certain achievements. To start with, we would recommend that you try the following options. Sign Out of the Xbox Live - Sign out of your account, reboot your console and sign back into your account from the main screen. Wait for the achievement to unlock - If the servers are busy the achievement may not unlock immediately, Try coming back to the game another day, and the achievement may unlock during normal gameplay. Re-attempt the achievement- Repeat the criteria for the trophy While offline In a new player profile.
Unfortunately Dovetail itself does not invest time in support. While the people at Skyhook are working actively in finding solutions and fixing the bugs.
Skyhook Games is working on them, no news on what or when we could see some of the fixes releasing... I hope after they are done with Horseshoe Curve they will focus on fixing the 187...
Yeah, doing fixes on dev's side(Thirh Party/Preservation Crew) of thing can be done relatively quickly, testing and release proces across all platforms is real paint, if it is not supported by related major release(similar route/loco).
They are working on it right now, all the issues I listed on my first post are known to the developers. Is the list still complete? If not please reply below.
I have found another bug on Ps5 and 4. When you turn on the headlights, the level of brightness does not matter, they are not able to be seen from the Cabview. The freeroam csm shows that the lights are on and enlighten the rails but the light on the rails can not be seen through the windows of the cab. I guess it has to do with the dirt texture on the windows. But however it is difficult to see the tracks in front of you when you can not see the headlights from the cabview when it is 1am in the game or so..
Three steps: 1. Set the headlights to auto at the panel in back of the cab 2. Select the type of headlight in the MFD 3. Turn the headlight on using the button in the cab. It took me quite a while to find out about all three steps.
PZB/LZB and AFB are not working in a very accessible way. PZB shows PZB-U in the cab, but in the HUD it shows the correct value Turing AFB on or off is almost causing nightmares. It works, but you cannot just use the keyboard commands as with some other locos For LZB Ende I had a lot of trouble with AFB. Finally the train stopped and I needed to use the brake release button to get the brakes released. It was hard to turn AFB off (no idea how I did it) and to turn it on again (also no idea how I exactly managed to do this). It might be a weird German real life procedure, but please explain it in a manual.
For things like this and the power change over on the 395 on SEHS I played the tutorial and then wrote a cheat sheet of each step as I did it then referred to that each time until I could do it without the sheet!
Year or more after release, lzb and afb still going crazy after lzb ende, no response from throttle... Pzb M shows 55, train penalised and stopping not possible to switch off alarm sound, no way to prceed, awfully sound loco (irl as well and full of bugs... Sad The worst purchase so far.
