    Introduction
    Drive down to the Borders in a ScotRail class 170 along 29 miles beautiful suburban and countryside railway.

    The Station and Route
    The route is as Follows
    • Edinburgh Waverley
    • Brunstane
    • Newcraighall
    • Shawfair
    • Eskbank
    • Newtongrange
    • Gorebridge
    • Stow
    • Galashiels
    • Tweedbank
    The route in total takes about an hour
    and would include both Craigentinny and Millerhill depots.

    Trains
    The trains used would be recycled class 170's and 158's from the Fife Circle lines as well as Class 70's for freight workings and
    385's for ECS moves from Millerhill to Edinburgh Waverley

    Liveries
    Liveries would include the Borders Railway livery for the Class 170, as well as, the Standard ScotRail Saltire on the Class 170, 158, and Class 385 and a Freightliner Livery for the Class 70

    Cost
    The route would come as the standard UK cost of a route at £24.99

    Features
    This route will include Guard Operations as well as specialized guard scenario like the Hadfield and Glossop line.
