Hello, I would like to suggest the British Rail Class 377/5 for SEHS Extended: St Pancras/Dartford to Ashford/Faversham for substitution on Chatham Main Line services starting/ending at Rochester.

This is what the train looks like:
    Exterior:

    Interior:

    Training (In Training Center)
    Class 377/5 Introduction

    Scenarios:
Greens to Gillingham: (Difficulty - 1)
A 377/5 service has been diverted through Dartford due to engineering works and you are to drive this service to Gillingham, your train has priority over everything else so should be greens all the way to Gillingham...

    Rainham Starter: (Difficulty - 2)
Drive this 377/5 ECS to Rainham from Gillingham EMUD then form the first service of the day to Rochester as a replacement for Thameslink as their 700s are unavailable

    Faversham Express: (Difficulty - 2)
Drive a 377/5 from Rochester to Faversham only calling at Gillingham, Rainham and Sittingbourne along the way, all while following a stopper to Dover Priory and you can't overtake at Newington as that train weirdly has priority over you

I hope this DLC gets added, put all your Electrostar controversies below or if you want it, show your support by giving this thread a like, enjoy your day!!!

Amazing idea but the only issue i see is the similarity of the 377 and well.. 377/5 look and seem similar. Of course this isn't impossible as reskined re releases do seem to be very possible it's just as much as I personally love eurostars, I think a lot of people wouldn't like it just like the loco bundle.

I have to admit. This is unlikely to get made because the Class 375 looks so similar and the Class 377 is already in the game. You may as well reskin a Class 377 yourself or get one from creators club

... Doesn't the class 66 and the RHTT exist on the sehs when they are basically the same train?

Fair enough, I have made one myself but can be a potential DLC for TSW future titles when people stop complaining about Electrostars, imagine a route with a 375, 376, 377 and a 378 on it lol ;)

Yeah the 66 and the 66 RHTT are the same train but the RHTT one is a) weathered and b) hauls RHTT wagons around the place so similar in a way :)

Excellent idea and to make it go faster 377/5 has the exact same capability as 387/2 Anerican M8 New Haven Line and German DB Baureihe 474.3 & 490 it's Third Rail to Overhead wires. If you force Class 377/5 on AC wires 25kv 50hz it runs like an OHLE Emu quick acceleration.
Needs a Southern Railway skin for WCML South Euston to Birmingham New Street Wilesden Junction to Milton keynes.

Yep true, if this train isn't made for this route then it can be made for Midland Mainline: Bedford-St Pancras or reskinned into Southern to become a 377/2 on WCML South ;)

How about the Southern SE Patch livery for it?

That was only applied to 377163 and 164, that wasn't applied to the 377/5s, they were given the full SE livery ;)

This would be practically indistinguishable from the 375 already on the route and as such adds precisely nothing to it. Just having it for substitution of services already in the route (I think that’s what is being suggested) isn’t going to sell a train we already have lots of versions of already. Players want something new to TSW, something different.

I believe there are enough 375/377 trains in the game. How about a Class 60, 67, 68, 70??

The class 66 is a loco not a train.
The RHTT is a train either made up of two locos (class 20, 37 or 66 generally) hauling wagons with the RHTT kit loaded on them or a specialist train with two sections with a cab at each end and the RHTT kit in between
The class 66 included with the RHTT pack in TSW is different to the standard class 66 on GWE, ECW and SEHS in that it has the radio controls for the RHTT and is weathered (or dirty)
If you don't have the RHTT 66 you can't operate the RHTT equipment as you will be missing that control

Neither run on SEHS IRL, it's either 66s or 73s :)

I wasn't saying your comment was incorrect, but adding to it, so if DTG wanted to make a loco for freight on SEHS they could use the 92, and we already have the 66 for RHTT. Not sure if they use the tech trains out of Tonbridge for other tech work (I've got a vid of it somewhere but don't know the class)

I don't know if the MPVs are used on SEHS

92s would be a great addition to SEHS on freight, it would enable Ripple Lane to be implemented :)

While I would like a 377/5 as a Networker substitution, and it would be nice to have a dual-voltage 377, it would make more sense to have it as a base train in a route rather than a DLC as it's just too similar to the 377s in the game. So while it would make a nice change from the 375, it would be quite boring for someone who also owns London to Brighton or East Coastway.

Of course if there were any routes added to TSW (or TS for that matter) where the 377/5 is the common train used (such as Victoria to Ramsgate via Maidstone and Canterbury) I would expect it to be included.
They weren't actually, the SE 377s are still in First Capital Connect purple but with SE vinyls and branding for the doors, first class, etcetera. Putting a 375 next to an SE 377 you'll see the 377 is noticeably more vivid, and videos of the 377s prior to their relivery working with FCC ones show the colour is unchanged.

Fair argument, Ashford-Victoria through Maidstone would be nice :)

I thought the 377/5s were reliveried into SE livery ;), ah I didn't know that :)

Yep, seems they picked the more popular option but the 377/5 is an outlier ;)

Yeah, but I don't mind, at the end of the day, it is a suggestion and if it doesn't get made, it doesn't worry me to the slightest ;)
