(Bradford Interchange NOT Bradford Forster Square, my mistake)

very interesting route, and would add some much needed Northern Stock to the game, along with a nice rural forest setting and balances it out with city landscape, such as Leeds and Manchester

    Why this Route?

    GOOD VARIETY
    - Calder Valley and Leeds Lines features plenty of towns and northern cities, such as Huddersfield, Leeds, Rochdale, Halifax and Bradford

ADDS MUCH NEEDED STOCK - This route adds some much needed and often used northern stock, such as the Class 195 DMU, which is regarded as the backbone of Northern, as well as the Class 158 DMU, for extra stock variety.

NICE AND NETWORKY - This route features a lot of areas, which will be good for service variety and future loco dlcs

    WHATS INCLUDED?

    - Line From Manchester to Leeds via Halifax, Huddersfield and Cottingley

(NEW) Northern Class 195 'Civity' DMU
(REUSED) Northern Class 158 'Express Sprinter' DMU

    LOCO DLC OPPERTUNITIES:

TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS BR CLASS 185 DMU

(For Services Between Huddersfield and Leeds)

    Northern Class 156 DMU
    Northern Class 150/1 DMU

(For Manchester Victoria to Blackburn Services)

    CONCLUSION:

a nice and varitied north west route, connecting a lot of northern cities and towns, with the addition of adding much needed Northern stock.

I’m not familiar with the route but I’m interested in this. I also would love to see more Northern stock, especially a 156 and a 150/1, love those. Also, being from Blackburn myself, the landscape around the northwest is lovely, apart from the weather!

a while back, I actually made a route suggestion on here that I would like to see, which is Preston to Colne with Northen rail theme, a nice 30 miles ish route with a decent amount of stations and lovely landscape and towns to pass through. Would allow for more new Stock such as either A 195, 150/1 or 156. Ideally, I’d like to see the route prior to 2019, so that the old purple and blue livery would be available. With this route that I have suggested, it would allow for some great route extensions, particularly from Blackburn, where you can either branch off towards Clitheroe and Manchester Victoria either via Tomorden or Via Bolton!

Bring it on and by the way you would need to split the Blackpool train from the Manchester train at Hebden Bridge.
In fact I have suggested this since the summer of 2021 now they should make it
