So I bought the LIRR Commuter route today for the Playstation 5 (thanks for the no discount but that is another moan for another time) and I bought it so that we could play the Double Duty scenario and in my honest opinion, I thought it was very underwhelming and almost unfinished in some ways

    THE GOOD

    - I did like the inclusion of lost tourists in the route asking if they were on the right train, a nice little upgrade on the Glossop Line guard scenario
    - The fact that you could lean out of the window at all times during the scenario, not just as you arrive and depart
    - The route does look much more detailed than the original LIRR route

    THE BAD

    - There was no explanation of the zones on the tickets; it just says zones 1-7 and doesn't say which station is in which zone so you are guessing whether or not the ticket is right or not. If you live in the LIRR area, you know which zones you are going to be but for someone who doesn't, you wouldn't have a clue
    - If you sit down at any point, the train comes to a stop
    - I only found one person out of, I think it was, 50 people that didn't have the right ticket (your experience may differ)
    - The Double Duty part of the scenario doesn't happen because all you are doing is essentially a more complex version of what you did on the Glossop Line which was operate the guard buttons and check tickets (just on a longer train)
    - Some of the guard buttons in the units were not operational so you could get to the end of the train, pull in at the next station and instead of using the nearest compartment (because the buttons wouldn't work), you had to go all the way back down the end of the train

Overall, if I had to rate this scenario, I would give it a 5/10. I do agree that the guard mode feature in TSW is a lot of fun but I do feel that perhaps a little more explanation of the ticketing system and a little more diversity in the duties could be added.

I'm just finishing up the scenario now after what feels like forever going from Jamaica to NY Penn and it's....alright. It's just an extended version of the one from Glossop with the new mechanic of helping tourists except only 2 passengers out of like 50 asked me for directions. I think the biggest issue is that it's too easy you just look at the destination and the date and that's about it, I think if they did this again they need to make it harder with more things to do. I also think this scenario would have been better if it ended at Jamaica because the journey takes soooo long and there's nothing to do except wait.
