DTG have said several times that they have issues with when to release updates to routes, minor bug fixes and patches across several locos or assets, and especially the preserved team's latest updates (Raildriver, sky box, platform edge climbing etc), and they tend to "hold these back" for some random commercial reason regarding update slots and what new route is upcoming etc My proposal would be to have the equivalent of Microsoft's "Super Tuesday", but in DTG's case a "Super Thursday", which would be once every 12 or 13 weeks (so 4 times a year) and on that Thursday all tested and available fixes for all routes, assets and updates are released. These could be confirmed a week or two in advance so testing can be completed and everything made sure to be working. No last minute "throw it in, it'll work" stuff like they do now This would be specifically for DLC so would be separate to any "core game updates" It would also be separate to any "class A fixes", ie game breaking bugs, which would be patched ad hoc (as they are now) This would mean that we as players could KNOW when the next main update to DLC is, DTG could book these updates in advance with the various stores and know they have that slot, the roadmap and streams in the week leading up to it would actually be able to say what we're getting and show it off as necessary, patch notes could be written in advance (rather than on the day)... I can see many advantages and very few drawbacks
