The Ore Mountains have a rich cultural heritage and are characterised by a centuries-old mining and craft tradition, agriculture and diverse industry. Since the mid-1990s, an economic upswing has again been noticeable in our region, especially in and around the major centres of Chemnitz and Zwickau. The automotive industry and its suppliers have made a considerable contribution to this. New businesses are now also settling in the medium-sized centres. In addition to the traditional trades, trade and the service sector also play an important role.

Tourism also plays a role in the Central Saxony region that should not be underestimated. This seems like a great track and the 642 would be used there (which just comes with the new Maintalbahn DLC).

Also it would be the forth route in Saxony then, after Rapid Transit (Dessau-Markleeberg over Leipzig), Dresden Nahverkehr (Dresden-Riesa) and Tharandter Rampe (Dresden-Chemnitz), but Saxony is simply beautiful and a great location for trains.

Only missing then the route Chemnitz-Aue to "connect" all of these 4 maps. There is also a nice train driving there, the Variobahn, a mix between a tram and a regional train, worth a DLC alone:
