Hi everyone! I want to start this post acknowledging that once we get to use the scenario planner we will have a better idea of what we would like added. That being said, the scenario planner is making its debut in TSW2. Its a tool I know I appreciate being part of TSW2 and I know many others are as well. We have got to see some gameplay and have been explained how the scenario planner will work and DTG have labeled this as version 1.0 with room to expand and improve once the community gets a hold of it. At launch we will be able to choose from pre-made consists. I personally would like to have the ability to create my own consist, for freight trains as an example, being able to add single locomotives and single freight wagons to which ever length and sequence we would like. DTG have also placed markers across the routes and tried to include sidings and areas that would give us more flexibility when making a scenario, I would really like to see this expanded on in the future, making it so we can place our locomotives on any piece of track on a route and choosing where we will make stops and where it will end. Obviously we will need to get our hands on it to see what we can do and what we would like to see in the future but for now these are the things I’d love to see. I picture an expanded scenario planner that allows us to start anywhere on a route, with any consist. Being able to place wagons/locomotives anywhere on the route and being able to create scenarios that will have us travel up and down the line.
