Ciao fellow conductors! I’d love to see some Italian maps and trains come to TSW4… but one may be really curious and stand out… The Genoa city Subway System, dubbed as the shortest subway route in all Europe with a “whopping” 7,1KM extending from the Brignole Train Station to the Suburbs of Certosa with the Brin Station, opened first in 1990 it featured…two stations and one train, Brin and Dinegro, now in 2024 it has 8 stations, and one line, running under the city center and coasting the Cruise Terminal. I’d love to see all of the 3 Generation Trains, - the first gen built by Ansaldo through 1985 to 1990 (which we passionate refer to DoReMi thanks to the unique motor sound), - the second generation built by AnsaldoBreda from 1990 through 1995 - and the newer third generation trains built by Hitachi Rails from 2015 to 2017 All of the three generation trains use overhead 13V energy configuration A map of the course In my opinion it could make a really cool tutorial map! as it Is very short! Here below are the pictures of the stations! the first five were designed by Renzo Piano - Brin (Certosa) - Dinegro (Ferry Terminal) - Principe (Train Station) - Darsena (by the Maritime Museum) - San Giorgio (by the Aquarium) unfortunately I couldn't find a good picture - Sarzano S.Agostino (Top of the city center) - De Ferrari (Main square) - Brignole (Biggest Train Station) Cab Ride: I will be working on this thread inserting pictures and links! Let me know what you think so far!
