Hello everyone Today I am suggesting the Main Neckar Bahn. This is an approximately 87 kilometer long railway line between the metropolis of Heidelberg (Baden Württemberg) and one of the largest cities in Germany, Frankfurt am Main (Hessen). This has many intermediate stops, including Darmstadt, Bensheim, Weinheim and many other small stations. This route is one of the most important railway routes in Germany and is used daily by long-distance trains of the "DB Fernverkehr", regional trains of the "DB Regio Mitte", S-Bahn trains of the "S-Bahn Rhein Main" and "S-Bahn Rhein Neckar", but also used by freight trains of "DB Cargo" and the private company "FlixTrain". This scenic route may be traveled at a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour and the train safety system PZB (Punkförmige Zugbeeinflussung). Long-Distance: On the Main-Neckar-Bahn some ICE trains, but above all IC and EC trains, serve the main stations of Frankfurt and Darmstadt, almost all of them also the stations of Bensheim, Weinheim and Heidelberg. They provide connections to Karlsruhe or Stuttgart (sometimes further to Munich, Graz, Klagenfurt or Linz) in the south, and to Hanover (sometimes in Hamburg) or Dresden in the north. The Flixtrain also runs on the route, with stops in Heidelberg Hbf and Darmstadt Hbf. Regional traffic: Since the 2017/18 timetable change, only the new Twindexx DB BR 446 vehicles with an entrance height of 76 cm have been used as regional trains on the Main Neckar Bahn. Excellent idea and does DB BR446 seen here also run Main Spessart Bahn or not? If so DB BR446 from this route can layer to Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden. Destination sign will need RE55 RE54 Frankfurt (M) HBF Bamberg Würzburg. Timetable should also reserve ÖBB trains SNCF Euroduplex trains Paris Est Strasbourg Appenweier Karlsruhe Mannheim Heidelberg Frankfurt Am Main.
Hello driverwoods#1787 First: normally the br 446 could layer on MSB but there drives the br 445 and not the br 446. The TGV does not drive on the Main Neckar Bahn too. the difference between the br 445 and the 446 lies in the entry height of the doors. the br 446 has an entry height of 70 centimeters and the br 445 has an entry height of 60 cm. the br 446 was specially developed for the "main neckar ried".
