    Hello everyone,
Here I am back with a suggestion, one that I have been wanting to make on this forum for a long time.
This idea about an important but also scenic route, mainly used for freight to connect Germany with Belgium. Also called the Montzen Route (L24), which starts in Germany in Aachen West all the way to the Port of Antwerp.

What makes this railway unique is the Moresnet Viaduct,

The bridge has a voltage lock that separates the Belgian overhead line voltage (3kV=) from the German overhead line voltage (15kV~). The section from the voltage lock to the Gemmenicher tunnel is the only rail section in Belgium where 15 kV is used.

It has many showpieces such as tunnels, slopes, impressive environments, new railway infrastructure

the full electrification was completed in 2008, before which emd HLD 55 diesel locomotives were used. Nowadays, in addition to Vectrons, class 266,HLE 28 TRAXX locomotives used mostly on this line by operator Lneas.

There are a number of depots where freight trains can leave the main line, one for freight trains only is located close to the German border in Montzen

Even if a full route to Antwerp is a bit too long, Hasselt would be fantastic to be able to experience that distance with a considerable length

    About any major freight yard

    - Aachen West
    - Montzen
The last 3 are also used for passenger trains
    - Hasselt
    - Lier
    - Antwerpen

From Tongeren it is no longer only a freight line but also a passenger railway

the Class 66 (266) are certainly not missing here, just a slightly different version of the interior than the UK one, s

In the case of an ÖBB Cityjet, a conversion to the Desiro ML SNCB/NMBS
for passenger services between Hasselt and Tongeren.

In order to possibly have even more passenger services in this route, you can extend the route to Aarschot, which is also possible for freight because there is also a kind of a depot there. some services here drive all the way past Leuven towards the Walloon and French sides of the country.

I don't know what you think about this, I would like to be a little more convincing at the bottom of, two Cab videos from YouTube that give a more clearer view.

Something in combination like that, would be awesome!
If they made it even longer, extend the HSL from Aachen to Liège itself, Belgium. Including the remake of the current line: Köln - Aachen
This route would be even cooler than ever.
