If you haven’t figured it out by now I’m talking about NY-Trenton. As we know Dovetail is releasing a way better timetable for the route which to my understanding will be a massive upgrade. But it begs the questions, why isn’t dovetail working on other fixes for the route. You’ve got No pantographs up on AI Trains, (sometimes your own train). I mean this bug is so noticeable, even Matt knows about it and said “no point in holding back the timetable upgrade” so does that mean we’ll ever see this bug fixed? It seems Dovetail knows about these bugs but doesn’t do anything about them. Don’t get me wrong this update will be very good for the route, but I would just like to see some very noticeable bugs fixed..
Other bugs are both sides Ai train doors opening, no marker lights on the end. (This isn’t a bug but the trains clipping poles, platforms, walls in NY Penn)

That’s just the way DTG work. It’s never going to change.

It is a shame shame. Very unprofessional misgoal especially pantosdawn... They can throw out TSW7 with 5 routes just for 1 buck and still recive only 2 star review from me with such policy.

Why fix old LOVE when you can shovel new stuff out the door and charge people for it.

    That is thier business model.

Don't expect any fixes for any thing they release.

It's probably best to just stop buying thier product.

I always thought that they would fix other issues like the pantograph and other issues like the passenger lights on the NJ Transit Bombardier bi levels not being on during the day and other issues as part of a mega patch with the timetable upgrade. It wouldn't make sense to just release a new timetable without fixing the other problems especially since the route came out 7 months ago as they would've had plenty of time to sort these problems out.

But then I have to remind myself that this is Dovetail Games so if they didn't sort these other problems out, I wouldn’t be suprised at their incompetence

It’s very sad that a company with the biggest audience and least competition in the Train Simulator market doesn’t even fix bugs for there routes and expects us to buy their new routes while they try to make us forget about there old stuff.

The nyt release was part of the rushed out content half year ago, that dtg can focus on currents releases.

I remember the loco pack with the rhht, the bogies on the kfa wagons are not even turning, all bogieframes are static lined up with the chassis.
The dispolok has some wired sounds in the cab2, also lzb not working.

Trains with pantograph down.., looks to me they had some changes of the employee.

Clearly rushed all of it, just pathetic to not give a damn about customers.

i avoided them loco packs as I wasn’t sure on their value, now that I’ve learned they’ve just left major broken parts to it, I’m quite glad I never bothered to pick them up.

Theirs also a headlights and taillights issue on NJ transit for Ai (they’re not turned on) and then The passenger lights (practically aren’t turned on)

the NJ transit cab car also has probably the worst texture flicker bug in its cab on series x (an outstanding issue across a lot of locos)

no livery designer for Amtrak cab car, and it has a strange outside look effect when it’s raining compared to the other cars.

I’m pretty sure I picked up the route in a sale, it’s one I enjoy quite a lot (especially with the Acela) but couldn’t recommend at full price due to bugs.

Yeah NYT released when DTG were on a DLC rampage, most of it was extremely mediocre and filled (still to this day) with issues.

As above, DTG create these issues in large quantities, they pile up & DTG end up in a position where they don’t even know where to start fixing them.

TSC core is in the state that it’s in because of that same approach, TSW is basically full speed ahead for the same fate.

Having read though the comments here I tend to agree with alot of what's being said,on the pantograph being down that one i don't get why that was in the completed and released route,it was in the pre realease stream if I remember correctly.they also have a set time in which to realease routes,it's the business model I guess, which brings in realease it and patch it later, which doesn't always happen,if I recall seemed to work better in the days of the presavasion crew . After all is said and done it's a niche train game I can play on my playstation with all its problems,it's never going to be perfect I can exept that, but I think it's not a deal breaker imho
