Experience the Rural and Urban Areas of South London and exit into the countryside and county of East Sussex in TSW6: Oxted Line

    ROUTE LENGTH: 42 MILES
STATIONS: 18 (25 counting the heritage railway)

The Oxted Line is a railway line running from the Bustling suburb of Croydon in South London to the Quiet and Quaint towns of East Grinstead and Uckfield, featuring both third rail and diesel traction.

    LOCOS:

    BR CLASS 171 DMU (SN)

The Main Traction on this route is the Class 171, running back and forth on the diesel only branch to Uckfield, on the London Bridge to Uckfield service.

    BR CLASS 377 EMU (SN)

The BR Class 377 returns for this route, doing the services between South Croydon and East Grinstead. This would be a good opportunity to rework the Class 377s audio or Model.

Good call, but it would be criminal not to set this in the Thumper era (both East Grinstead and Uckfield) plus the loco hauled peak services and the line across from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells.
