    The Paisley Canal Line

The Paisley Canal line runs from Glasgow Central to Paisley Canal.
It’s 7 and a half miles long, which is too short for TSW, so it could be an extension of the Cathcart Circle line, or a future line for the game.
The Paisley Canal line’s stations are Glasgow Central, Dumbreck, Corkerhill, Mosspark, Crookston, Hawkhead and Paisley Canal.

    The line uses the classes:
    318

The class 318 is a 3 car EMU using AC overhead electric wires. It was built between 1985 to 1986, there was a refurbishment between 2005 to 2007 which removed the end gangway, added an accessible toilet, etc. The class 318 is currently the oldest EMU in regular service in Scotland.

    The class 320

The class 320 is a 3 car EMU using AC overhead electric wires. It was built in 1990. ScotRail purchased 12 class 321s from London Midland and converted them to 3 car class 320s, known as the class 320/4. The class 320/3 (the original) has a top speed of 90mph, and the 320/4 has a top speed of 100mph.

    Class 380

The class 380 is a 3 or 4 car EMU using AC overhead electric wires. The class 380/0 is the 3 car variant and the class 380/1 is the 4 car variant. The class 380 was built between 2009 to 2011. The max speed of the class 380 is 100mph.

It previously used the class 314 and class 380. And before the line was electrified in 2012 it used the class 156
    upload_2022-11-15_20-11-44.jpeg
The class 156 is a 2 car DMU. It was built between 1987 and 1989. The top speed of this train is 75mph. ScotRail refurbished the majority of there class 156s, replacing the two PIS boards at the end of each carriage with one in the middle, “upgrading” the seats to ironing board ones, and replacing the tiny toilet with an accessible one, the units that were not refurbished were sent to Northern.

Like I said at the beginning, this route is probably too short for TSW, so it could maybe be an extension of the Cathcart Circle or a future route.
Anyway I hope this will be added, as an extension or on its own but bye for now.

Some good variantion of stock I see there! Sadly extension aren't really made yet in TSW, we only got the 1st one with SEHS, but I would love to see this little branch to GCC! It'll make the route bussier and add more variation which we need!

Not relevant to Cathcart at all; and it's an incredibly boring line itself. You'd never get more than one train for it either.

Personally I'd like the Class 380. It a great train but this is a very very short route. Maybe suggest it to Rivet games? The might make it. :)

Yeah good suggestion but the line is too short by itself, maybe a merge either with CCL or a future Ayrshire Coast Line or Inverclyde Line DLC ;)
